We loved our stay at the Excellence El Carmen! Many restaurant choices and activities. Played volleyball almost everyday and enjoyed many smoothies. Housekeeping services were pretty awesome, they clean your room two times sometimes. Everyone is super nice and helpful. Very happy with our experience.
We took an excursion the 7 activities for $99, buggy rides, horseback riding and the zip line was absolutely the best! It s huge and there are 5 you go on in a row!
Mickey Mouse was fun and helpful at the resort. Happy birthday Mickey Mouse !
Junior was awesome and friendly!

Jose Luis was the best server ever. Seriously he made my wife and I stay amazing. We were treated so well. Every time we saw him he treated us great like family at oregano and the grill. I really hope he can get recognized for his great customer service. Really hope he is available next time we visit

Our vacation came to an end today and its time to fly home. What an extraordinary week! Celebrating the win of a cancer battle AND my birthday, the Excellence El Carmen went out of their way to make it a special and memorable occasion! David at the Front Desk gave us a beautiful room with a glorious view and went out of his way to make sure we were happily settled in! Miguel at The Grill orchestrated the BEST birthday dinner and serenade in my honor! Hector at the pool bar makes the best drinks and has a great singing voice too! Evelyn served us very well every night in the Theater during all of the shows. And Vanessa at the Sports Bar is the best! Go see her for the most unbelievable mozzarella sticks you ever had in your life! Finally I must mention Kassandra. I seriously can't say enough wonderful things about this woman! She oversees a great team of talented professionals for your entertainment and she genuinely cares about you and how you are enjoying your time at the resort. She is warm and kind and personable and we LOVE her! Excellence is lucky to have her! Don't hesitate to plan your vacation at Excellence El Carmen! You will not be disappointed!

Just got back from a girls vacation at the Excellence El Carmen. While the food and drinks were good, the experience was made amazing by the excellent staff at the resort. Each day we were greeted with smiles everywhere we went - Danny and Maritza at the pool, Ranphie and Adan at the restaurants and Alejandro and Aurelio at our nighttime bar. Those are just a few of the standout employees. To be honest, there were so many more I want to mention but I suspect my review would be more of an employee directory if I did.

Back only one day and I miss everyone there already!

The best vacation experience I ve ever had! My husband spent 5 nights here for our honeymoon and loved every second. The people are so nice and we felt very safe the entire trip. Would recommend to everyone!

From the moment we arrived at the hotel from the airport, the service of the staff was outstanding. They made us feel welcome and special. All staff at every area of the resort (pool, restaurants, bars, lobby, entertainment team, room service, etc) went above and beyond to provide us with the best service. This is the second time we visit the hotel and as soon as we got to it, we knew exactly we ve made the right choice once again.
Excellence El Carmen is definitely one of a kind in all areas! . We are very thankful to all staff for the great service and for their genuine welcoming and beautiful smiles we receive throughout our stay.

The service has been BEYOND EXTRAORDINARY! It s chic & modern yet warm & inviting. Everything is convenient & the staff SURPASSES accommodating! In the club level, we met the most AMAZING bartenders-Benjamin, Joel & Joendry. They ve taken INCREDIBLE care of us & do so out of simply being kind. They work so hard, love what they do & their personalities are infectious! PERFECT way to feel on vacation!!!

The Excellence el Carmen staff is beyond exceptional. Everyone is extremely nice and helpful. Luis Fernando, Juana and Minerva made our dining experience special with their kindness and professionalism. Without Juan Carlos, we would not have enjoyed the beach as much. He is an amazing host, always checking on us to make sure all is good...

Carmen and Elizabeth are our sweethearts, remembering our orders and willing to go the extra mile to make sure we have the greatest time.

You reading this, you should come to Excellence El Carmen. The real staff, the best attentions EVER! We spend our honey moon here and we are already planning to come again very soon, we actually didn't wanted to leave

Jose Luis- worked with us at the grille and oregano. He was helpful and friendly the entire time. Juana was sweet and kind for the duration of our stay. We ate with them 4 times in our week s stay because of how well we were treated during our interactions. Jose Luis made dinner and lunch fun to have. Couldn t ask for a more friendly interaction.
