I work for EDS in Denver Colorado at the car rental return by the airport,
I AM A CURRENT EMPLOYEE..
#1 thing, they don t not care about their employees, my manager doesn t make a schedule that would have another employee relieve the morning shift, instead I have to just leave because nobody comes in for 2 hours and I m hungry/thirsty/have to use the restroom/have heat exhaustion with no managers around.
#2 thing, I stand out in the 100 degree sun for 8 hours a day, plus the heat from engines running and the heat off the pavement, this company refuses to provide the basics someone would need for the job. Wear black pants and black shoes..in 100+ degrees.. (Cold water) I ve bought the ice so I can have cold water but I share with all the employees outside. I ve had my skin blistered from working this job just for 8 hrs. They do not provide sunscreen, a shaded area to take not even a 10 min break. They give us a vehicle to have our belongings in all day, we don t even have time to really drink water and take a restroom run. Kids die from hot cars but it s ok to let us adults sit in them, I ve made recommendations like a tint sent up for us, this company refuses to do anything of the sort.

#3 thing, they let people get away with being lazy on the job and not doing their job and then say they are scared to fire them because of being sued.. well obviously they are doing something wrong to be worried about being sued.
#4 thing, I ve called corporate headquarters in Georgia and left messages because nobody answers the phone. Nobody calls back. Nobody says anything AND I m a current employee so that tells it all. The location I work at there is nobody over my manager, she s the only one and dealing with everything from payroll to covering shifts that aren t staffed. Corporate doesn t even care about her work load, so how could they possibly care about keeping good employees.

#5 thing, At this point they are about to loose every hard working, dependable, honest employee they have and their is only 5 of us. Every new person I have trained over the last 2 weeks has quit already. One even went on lunch and never came back. The other two quit after 2 or 3 days. Says A LOT!!
