Travel back in time to the time before pubs became...

Travel back in time to the time before pubs became bars, before advertising was restricted and before beer mats were naff. This surprising time machine is unassuming, down to earth and fun. The bar staff are just as interesting and part of the experience. As of the time the food menu seems stuck in the 80s ... wasnt sure if it was another prop tbh but reckon it caters to the no frills lunch time pint and chips brigade. Great for dates, great to take the parents if they grew up in the uk. Mine couldnt stop talking about who smoked what brand of cigarettes back then... they're all there, in advert format. Take a look for yourself

Outstanding collection of beer mats on the ceiling - for those who find themselves in a position to read them perhaps. Interesting knick knacks and a friendly welcome make this pub worth a visit.

If you ever wanted to experience what Fleet Street...

If you ever wanted to experience what Fleet Street was like during the heydays of the trade papers, then you need not look further than here. Much of the decor is from the eras of the 60's & 70's. Immerse your self in this pub's sensorial time capsule. Can't vouch for the food, but the staff & atmosphere can't be beaten.
