TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF ! REST! Here we select our best officers, we train them in this school and we make them generals . This is also where the military degradation of Captain Dreyfus took place! I really would not try to enter without permission, they are armed in there!

It's fascinating Paris. It truly is the gothic city. Would I go out my way to see this place? No not really. So why review it and why visit? Well here's why...
If you are visiting the Eiffel Tower then it's easy to get to here. It's right beside the metro and there are some nice restaurants nearby so you are almost destined to come across it if you are like me and enjoy a wee stroll.
The place is not overcrowded so you can really get a feel for the environment and appreciate the work behind the building.
Nice to see. Great to appreciate. But nothing quite out of this world.

The Military School welcomed its first students in 1756. One of the best known, Bonaparte stayed there from 1784 to 1785. In the central part (the "castle"), surmounted by a quadrangular dome - evoking the architecture of the Louvre - we discover a magnificent staircase designed by Gabriel, a chapel, a library (80,000 works, old collection with manuscripts by Colbert, Vauban ...) and the marshal's salon (4 paintings by Le Paon ...).

We walked from the tower down the park to the Ecole Militaire. It is an amazing building and you should walk to the back of it to see the whole building. The back is more impressive than the front. Not a big miss if you don't see it, but once your at the Eiffell tower you might as well take the 15 minute walk.

The idea for the construction of this military school had the lover of Louis XV. The military leadership should have a targeted educational site. The grand 18th century complex is sprawling and is now under police protection - at least there are police there. Napoleon I also had "his marshal's staff in a knapsack" here. Nice views to the Eiffel Tower!

I'm never there but I see that it can be cool as a school. Anyway I'm too small to be kind of school its not worth trying, it's for me. This is, for me, my opinion. If you want to go there nothing prevents you especially me anyway. What interests me most is the architecture but also the place where it is, I mean France, of course, I love France, even if I am far from being there unfortunately. And yes, it's our destiny.
From the Eiffel Tower you can reach the opposite side of the river. Right next to the metro stop. There is an outside garden in the wide greenery. The executive courtyard opens to the museum. There are shops selling gift items within the museum but the products are very expensive.
Very beautiful from afar, the building is in a dismal state from up close: facade falling in pieces, dilapidated and dusty interiors. Too bad, this is a beautiful Louis XV set by Gabriel.
