I was there from 1969 - 1974 and this was the best place a kid could go. Everyone was family. No bullying, no hate, no disappointments. Every kid was treated as an equal. The stories Uncle Tom would share, were captivating, interesting, adventuresome and funny. The Friedman's are a wonderful family and they have given a place for countless memories of kids from as close as an hour away to kids halfway around the world,b to come to this... Little Green Valley. 10 Stars on a 5 Star scale.

Beautiful ranch, the owners (Kinky and Marcie) are lovely people and incredibly hospitable. Its the personification of Texas beauty combined with Southern Hospitality.

I have volunteered some time for maintenance work at Echo Hill and enjoy the time I get to spend there. Kinky and Marcie are great people and I consider it an honor and pleasure to have them as friends. I am proud to be a part of the team at Echo Hill and will helping them with improvements for the next several months. If you have some spare time and want something great to do with it, then Echo Hill is the place for you.
