Over the past week our internet service had been horrible. It's been cutting out between shows and I work from home 5 days a week. I can't afford to be with my internet. I haven't been able to reach anyone through customer service. Please help or I will be switching services. My bill is paid early every month.

After having Technicians out to my house 5 times due to internet issues, I finally decided to go to Cox, who I get 3 times more the speed and more TV channels for less money for 2 years guaranteed. I started out with all the introductory pricing, then they started going up. When I started my service I had 300mbps, after I called in when my bill started rising the lady on the phone told me that some of the introductory pricing was gone but said she made some adjustments to my account and I would be paying the same amount that I had been paying. What little did I know until I started having all kinds of issues and they started sending technicians out, is that the adjustments she made was to lower me to 150mbps without me knowing. There were days I was lucky to get 20mbps, buffering constantly then they would send someone out and after a couple weeks, I was calling again. They finally changed the equipment and it got better for a bit and then here we go again, all the time my bill has risen to $174.00 for 150mbps which I wasn't getting anywhere close and the middle of the road TV Package with no PREMIUMS. It finally came to a head when I paid my bill $174.00 3 weeks early and then looked back into my account a couple weeks later and still had a $10.00 and something balance, my bill had risen to $186.00 for the same bad service. I then called COX for $172.00 I got 500mbps and 170 channels with HBO. Oh and by the way EATEL, COX found the problem that you never did after 5 technicians came out, there was a bad cable from the termination stand to my house. You probably knew it wasn't in good shape the entire time and just didn't want to replace it.

If I could give them -100, I would. First of all, they never answer the phone, and when you finally speak to someone, he has the nastiest attitude. Just a week ago, the tech came to my house to restore the cable and when we inquired about it, he had a disgusting attitude and refused to acknowledge us. I went to the service center in Gonzales to get a new DVR, and it's even worse than the first. Every time I call someone to help me troubleshoot, either they put in a ticket, which takes years to get a response, or don't offer a logical solution to help me! A joke. Canceling my service because we spend way too much for this mediocrity, if that.

If I could give this service negative stars I would. I don t even know where to start. I can never get in touch with a service customer representative and probably spend more time on hold than actually speaking to someone. On top of that my internet goes out at least 6 times a week for no reason at all. Just randomly in between my shows and doesn t come back on for HOURS. It s getting ridiculous at this point. I pay my bills on time and most of the time well in advance before it s even due. This service is not worth it.

While digging to place Eatel in Shenandoah, an Entergy line was hit on Fri July 9 around 230pm. Power was not restored until Sat July 10 around 430pm. Many residents left in the dark, many no generator, lost their food. Few fortunate but had the gas expenses to not lose the food .One man on Sleepy Hollow, his entire front yard is a mud pit and needs a pine tree removed since Entergy had a to slice away at roots to dig 5ft down. Entergy had to subcontract for completion.
The whole ordeal was very inconvenient. Not a way to welcome Eatel to the largest neighborhood of Shenandoah. The way our yards are being left is horrible.
