Great breakfast. James Browns are a must try. You have to place your order in order to be seated.
So glad we made the (now extra) long trek to West Seattle from the mainland. We grabbed food from the cafe there, which was one of the most reasonably priced and satisfying breakfast food I ve ever had in Seattle. Great vibes and diner More
Buyer beware of all mail orders from this establishment. A $400 order was not packaged securely and records were sliding all over in the box and arrived damaged. I notified the store and was told it wasn't their problem and to file a claim with the postal service. You're way better off ordering records elsewhere.
I ordered online from CA and these guys have an amazing collection on hand that rivals my own local record stores. Overall great store and I can t wait to come in person.
Love stopping by when we are in town.
Happened to be in town on Record Store Day a couple years ago.
There was a limited edition Modest Mouse triangular single that was released that year.
I came in much later than opening but still tested my luck. Nothing was found in the M section. I asked staff if they managed to have any more and was scoffed at, but it was okay. It s record store day and I was asking for a rare release. I deserved the scoff.
I chose a couple other items and got in line. While waiting in line I spotted it. A green triangular Modest Mouse - Poison the Well album that someone must have changed their mind on and placed on a random shelf for me to find. As I grabbed it I swear I let out a small victory scoff.
Absolutely delicious eggs Benedict (only available on weekends). Great vibes.
Went for brunch today. I ordered French Toast, soft eggs w/Cheese, and Vegan Bacon. I enjoyed everything on my plate. I was not disappointed. I was super impressed with the Vegan Bacon so good. I will eat there plenty more times.
I like easy street as a record store. The food is pretty average in the Cafe, nothing too exceptional. Record store is 2 levels, has a nice selection. Mostly new records that are organized, all of the used ones are a nightmare to go through. Also the prices here are pretty high compared to many other shops in seattle. But they always get a large supply on Record Store Day, and they open rather early for it, so thats much appreciated.
I'm a local and can honestly say this is one of my favorite places I've ever been.
It's just cool. I don't mean like "Eh, it's alright. It's cool". It's cool like your aunt who slipped you your first beer was cool. Like your grandad making sure you knew the difference between the Beatles, the Beach Boys, and the Stones. I genuinely love music - and I probably spend way too much money on albums, but I haven't been in a record shop I love as much as Easy Street.
The selection is rad, the employees are helpful and always happy to help, and they stock stuff you don't think you need until you need it - and then it's right there! Top place.
