Great school! Faculty and staff are friendly and very caring. They encourage students to reason and have faith while seeking justice. Eastern effectively incorporates reasoning into all courses/programs which often forces you to seek Truth on your own time. They don t force religion or Christianity at you. They create a safe environment for open dialogue. Campus is beautiful, clean, super secure. Loved it.
I just finished my bachelor's here. Good programs but to call it a Christian university is joke. It's more like a secular university that is still somewhat sentimental about Christianity. Incessant pro-lgbtq messages and no gospel actually preached in any part of their curriculum that I can recall. Also, the heresy of universalism is taught in a required course (Ignores Matthew 25 among many other passages). Their faith statement is just not remotely true in their practice. They are aggressively, VERY LIBERALLY minded. The Bible is an afterthought if mentioned at all and treated as just another culture for the most part. If you want to learn about what the world is presently churning out, you can find it here. It is a very WORLDLY school. I still grew here and it wasn't a total waste but definitely NOT a place to grow in faith or your relationship with Jesus Christ. You will struggle to continue to have a sincere faith if you go here as again God is typically an afterthought if ever at all mentioned in the classroom.
A scenic serene campus. A great place to walk or sit and just chill in reflection time. Also, a great school!
Good liberal arts Christian college. Expanding and trying to be more accommodating in a Christian American society. Good people, good professors, good programs.
This university has a great small community feel to it. From who I interacted with at the university, the people are kind, helpful, caring. It helps many to feel welcomed during a time of tough transition in life.
I absolutely loved my experience with Eastern University. I did the MATCA program in their grad school and seminary and enjoyed virtually everything about it. Great faculty, course work, campus, and so much more. I would unhesitatingly recommend the school to anyone.
The best years of my life. Professors are not afraid to tackle tough subjects. They know that we can't go out into the world as sheltered Christians. This university and it's professors equipped me to love and serve in such powerful ways.

We visited the girls soccer team. The Coach and the girls on the team were great! Can't wait to see a game.
