This is one of my all time favorite coffee shops! I love their teas and baked goods but my favorite thing is that it s a great place to stop in and stay a while.

They have lots of seating inside and outside and it s conveniently located close to all the shops on Alvarado and a short walk to the beach.

The service is good. It's a bit of a hidden gem as it is a little out of the way from the main touristy area. Both coffee and beer are served but the availability of the products served will of course vary based on time of day. I believe coffee is served all day. They have jazz nights and other special events throughout the week.

This is one of the places that the locals come to.

Open mic night was tonight. It was great. The kids and I had a fun night. I was even able to be a judge. All the acts were great. I give this spot a 2 thumbs up . And I'm going to make it a planned activity for every Wednesday night.......

We love East Village for live music. It's one of the very few venues in town. They host local and original artists for the most part, which is a much needed contribution to our music scene.

They have great coffees with lots of vegan milk options. They also serve beer and wine, which is a refreshing change from most traditional coffee shops. They also have a large variety of teas and some baked goods as well.

The coffee was delicious! The young woman who took my order was a bit scattered. I ordered a soy latte. Then she asked me if whole milk would ok today. I told her no. I just ordered soy milk.

Love, love the laid back charm of this place. The cozy seating area with sofa feels like I'm in my living room, hanging out with freinds. Very private on weekdays after lunch hour. I don't drink coffee, come for the atmosphere.

This place is going through a transformation into an eclectic atmospheric place. It's not officially reopened yet but it soon will be. It looks amazing so far.

Suggest locals and tourists pay a visit now, I suspect when the pandemic passes this will be a constantly busy hangout and a required visit when in Monterey.
