Wonderful professionals! They found quickly our lost son (with mental health disease) in the cold night of Jan 31/19. Very caring dispatcher and patrol officers. They prevented possible tragedy.
They were very helpful again in family problem in April 2020.
I called to ask about why a cop came to my house and the guy that answered was very rude. Instead of him taking the time to listen he rather get his point across. Very unprofessional
Today I was spoke to by an officer with complete ATTITUDE and DISRESPECT in his voice yet I spoke back polite with respect for that was how I was raised. If I spoke to him like he did to me I would be locked up right now. And I'm old enough to be his mother. How dare these officers take advantage of their power to do and say whatever they want. The East Haven Police Department needs to learn community relations and how to talk to someone. You would have thought they learned that from their mothers..........

I don t know what the heck is going on in this town. Besides one female officer (Black lady, approx 30-40) who has been professional every time I ve talked to her this department seems to need some community relations work. Rude, unprofessional, border line racist, and heavy handed are not exagerations. I know they restructured after the profiling scandal but it didn t work. Brass needs to take a serious look at this department before somebody sued them or these cops hurt somebody. We shouldn t have to fear the people who are supposed to protect us.
