Great pawn shop. Clean and well organized. Seem to be high price but all pawns I been to seem to be that way. I do got thank them for the amazing deal my friend got on his Taylor guitar from this place.

I wish I could give East County Pawn Shop a NEGATIVE star review. I called regarding a Television we wanted to bring in, Panasonic Smart TV and was told there was a low end and high end for that TV. The staff was INCREDIBLY rude! I think it was too close to closing up and they didn't care to bother. Well, it mattered to us. DO NOT USE this place! We went to a competitor and got $100! I think their positive reviews are fake!~

This is my go-to pawn shop for used video games. They always have great prices and are always wiling to make a deal with you.

My mother pawned her ring that she had appraised as a 1920s 1.2 karat diamond because she needed grocery money. When we came to get it 6 months later (she got an extension) it was a different ring that looked alike. She had the ring since she was 18 and it has been in the family since the 50's. She told them it wasnt her ring and they said it is because its still in the envelope they had put it in when she pawned it, she didn't believe them at all but they kept denying and she isn't a jewelry expert. She never felt the same about the ring again so when I needed a car repair we took it to a jeweler and they said that it was a 1 karat diamond from the 1960s. Im so pissed this day but its been 2 years since sold and 4 since it was pawned so I just feel like is they can do that to my mother who knew the people who worked there for 23 years and my grandmother has known them since the early 90s. My family has sold them ww2 era m1's and a 1911 we got when my grandfather died and made them alot of money its so scandalous. I hope they are arrested or a investigation be brought against them.

I was a little low on some cash until payday and went to pawn my gold chain for a couple hundred dollars. Joshua greeted me as soon as I walked in and had a smile on his face the whole time helping me. Very friendly staff and I got more for my chain than I thought I would. A+ pawn shop!

I had to edit my 5 star review from 3 years ago. Thats how much this place has changed.

I used to love this place. The prices were fair and they made reasonable offers on gold and silver. I understand that they are in business to make money, however, when 14k gold is $32+ per gram and out the gate your offer me $19 per gram and then get rude when I question you about it, that's wrong. Especially since I have been a customer for many many years. I have pawned and sold a ton of stuff here and the fact that you low ball people like that makes me sick. The average pawn shop or gold buyer usually takes 20% or so off the spot price. Ive never encountered a place that tried to take 40+%. Greedy and grimey. The other issue I have is when you utilize a pawn shop and you get your stuff out and items have been in there repeatability, you should be basically building your credit for higher loans. Nope not here. Not to mention why wouldn't you pay more to someone who is selling an item VS pawning an item? There is no incentive to want to sell anything here.
Again, you guys used to be my favorite pawn shop and now I dread even going in here if you're my last option. Im not sure if its due to newer employees, poor training or more profibility but the last several times I have been in there it has been very disheartening. So much so that not only I have decided to move my business to the other EC pawn shops, the business of my boyfriend, our mothers and 3 of my friends will be moving their business as well.

I have never felt that I was being ripped off by you guys before but that is exactly how I felt. I even took my items and let the woman know I was going to take my business else where and no one even attempted to stop me. So I guess my business wasn't that important to you in the first place.

This week i went into this pawn shop after leaving one the one on main street where they only wanted to give me 60.00for my bracelet and when i got to East County Pawn i was greeted by Kristy with a friendly smile i told her what i experienced at that other shop and she smiled and said we will take care of you this shop has the highest loans and to top it off Kristy was wonderful fast and let very happy i will definitely be back to this shop again go in and ask for Kristy no matter if you want to pawn sell or buy items Kristy will take care of you i felt like family i will definitely give my business to them

I have been in this pawn shop a couple of times to buy items every time I come in here I m greeted with a smile and a friendly face from Kristy today I purchased a high-end bike for a great price I definitely recommend everyone to come here if they want good prices

This was the first time going to a pawn shop & it was great. After getting into a financial bind & not knowing where to go I decided on ECP. Being that it was my first time I was really nervous. Luckily I was given a guiding hand from Kristy & Liz (Manager) on the whole process. After having my question/concerns answered I felt a heavy weight lifted off my shoulders. After pawning some tools & a piece of jewelry I was able to get the loan I needed (they even offered me more than I wanted too) I was satisfied, they are the most honest, kind, & compassionate people I have ever done business with. That being said a big thank you to Kristy & Liz.

He was completely rude. I'm posting this on behalf of my sister on her Google account. She took me here so I could try and sell some stuff I didn't need. The guy said that he couldn't sell anything I had because they weren't worth much and then he tried to get my sister to pawn the necklace her boyfriend had given her and wouldn't listen when we told him it wasn't for sale trying to guilt us into selling it. He was completely rude and I will never go there again.

This was my first experience pawning. I was feeling uncomfortable walking in the shop I didn't know what to expect. Immediatly I was greeted by Liz and she made me feel at ease she is very informative and sweet natured.i went home and grabbed all the things that I don't use and went back. It is actually a fun experience . They also have brand name purses for affordable prices. I was able to get rid of a guitar and trade for a purse.

I have been using this place for some time lately. Josh and Dave and all the other employees are great. After the county went into lockdown I was worried they would be closed. I called them to check and luckily they said they are staying open. They are also doing online payments so I didn't even need to leave my house. I highly recommend this pawn shop.
