I do a bit of volunteering here on the ward and since starting, I have seen first-hand how well the place operates. The nurses are excellent and extremely friendly. For patients and their families, it isn't the nicest place to be in terms of circumstance, however it's truly an amazing place with amazing care.

A wonderful dedicated team of staff run the East Cheshire Hospice in Macclesfield. Not only do they care for those who are terminally ill with compassion they also provide counselling for members of the family and help them come to terms with their loss. There is a small Chappel available for those who may require it. By reception there is a board displaying the contributions the Hospice has received in large cheques, it is eye catching and a reminder that they need financial support to help them continue to provide such a good service to the community.
