Both of my children have attend the Summer Program at Eagle Hill and have loved it. My son has attended the program the last four years and will plan to attend again this summer. My daughter attended for the first time this past summer and also plans to return this summer. As parents, we worry about the gap in learning the summer brings. While it is a time for enjoyment, I also want my children to be prepared for the next school year. Eagle Hill's summer program offers strong academics so they do not lose the skills and knowledge to be unprepared for the fall with a mix of fun programs, clubs and sports so my children still enjoy summer. I have also noticed improvements in my children's academics, their confidence in approaching academic challenges, their self-esteem, and their leadership abilities. They have also enjoyed meeting other children from around the world and building new relationships. I would recommend Eagle Hill and the summer program to any parent interested in wonderful well-rounded and fun program for their children.

this school, while priding itself on ethics and care, knowingly lets all student damage their body beyond repair. The students learn that they don't have to do anything they don't want to and get rewarded for it. The food is bland and the cafiteria under staffed. I was a student there and I can accuratly say students are often seperated by race.

Eagle Hill School is the reason that I not only was accepted into college, but more importantly, was able to graduate magna cum laude. By the time that I had completed middle school, I was completely disillusioned with our education system. I felt lost and forgotten in a classroom of thirty students and my teachers struggled to accommodate me. My learning disability, which had only been recently diagnosed, soon grew to become an insurmountable obstacle in the classroom, as teachers could not afford to deviate from their daily lesson plans to ensure that I understood each concept or to provide a different approach to the material that was more aligned with my strengths. There was even discussion with my parents about putting me in a separate, special education classroom that included students whose disabilities ranged from blindness to Down Syndrome. Fortunately enough, a family friend from our hometown introduced us to Eagle Hill. From the first time I walked across its campus, I was struck by how genuinely happy the students appeared there and how in each classroom teachers were willing to take the time to stop, answer questions, or allow themselves to get lost in a deeper discussion with their students when the opportunity arose and they thought it was worth pursuing. Sitting in on classes during my first tour of the school, I was astonished to find that at this school catering to many students diagnosed with various learning disabilities, I was intellectually stimulated or engaged in a way I had never been before. As a student, I was overwhelmed by the sense of community that permeated the school; teachers, many of whom had been working for ten, twenty, or thirty years at Eagle Hill, knew their students and knew how to push, encourage, and motivate them to better themselves not just academically but in all facets of campus life. At Eagle Hill, I read Saul Bellow and Kurt Vonnegut, became captain of the Varsity soccer team and president of our Amnesty International chapter; as importantly though, I was once again confident in my ability to not just be a student who was good enough to coast through classes but a great one, who was dedicated to learning and who took full advantage of every opportunity to improve himself or push past what felt possible. I am forever grateful for the four years that I spent as a student at Eagle Hill; for the many friends that I met there with whom I am still connected; and for the teachers and dorm counselors who inspired me to become the accomplished and fulfilled person that I am today.

Eagle Hill has provided my son with a second chance. From being convinced that academic success was not in his wheelhouse, he is now looking toward college. The highly qualified faculty works tirelessly to ensure that each student is approached as an individual and academic strategies are taught as life skills. I couldn't be more appreciative!

Eagle Hill is a diverse school of learning and the student body represents this diversity. I have a very bright child with no emotional issues who is blossoming in his first year. My son has also met a spectacular group of friends. Academically, the curriculum is challenging and creative. Any parent that is considering Eagle Hill for their child should not be deterred by reading, what I consider to be, an unfair review of the school. I have no doubt that my son will continue to excel in this nurturing environment and attend an excellent college or university by anyone's standards!

Eagle Hill School changed my son's life and gave him confidence. At the end of the summer my son said he learned more in five weeks at Eagle Hill School than he did the entire school year. The facilities are state of the art, the teachers and staff are down to earth, they listen, are available and encourage and most importantly focus on the "positive." Before my son started at Eagle Hill School he had great difficulty writing a paper, we could get a couple of sentences out of him, after Eagle Hill he has the confidence to write paragraphs. At Eagle Hill they teach students to advocate for themselves and believe in themselves. My son is a different learner now. In the classroom my son was one of those people who loved larger classrooms because he could hide, at Eagle Hill my son soon came out of his shell and spoke for himself and volunteered answers. It was not all about academics either, they had a great selection of electives, clubs and activities, my son made friends and had a good time, he is looking forward to next summer. Eagle Hill made a difference!

Eagle Hill saved my son because they were kind, understood him and how he learned. He graduated in 2011, attends a very good college and is in contact with several staff and past students. Our family is very grateful!

Eagle Hill has provided a learning experience for my son even beyond my already high expectations. It is a real community in which highly professional, truly caring educators give individualized attention to each student. As such it is an exceptional, even unique, school.
