Dwayne and a helper replaced the shattered glass with a new piece cut to order and meticulously cleaned up the mess before leaving. The job proved more difficult and time consuming than anticipated but Dwayne did not increase the cost above the original, very reasonable estimate.

I have appreciated how floor to ceiling mirrors, done right, can completely transform and enhance any room. I had a great floor to ceiling, wall to wall mirror, in a previous apartment and had been looking forward to having something similar installed in my new home. So I've had to research and look into quite a few mirror installers. I couldn't be happier that I went with Dwayne's Glass Works. They prepared and installed custom, floor to ceiling, mirrors on very hard to install, uneven basement walls, for me, with outstanding results. All was professionally installed with perfectly clean lines, flawlessly centered cutouts and mirrored outlet covers. Dwayne and Taylor took all the time necessary to create the best results with great attention to all details, creating what I was looking for at an extremely fair price. Brilliant perfectionists who I have no doubt would do their utmost to produce the best result possible on any project.
I received a price for of over $2000.00 to have glass shelves made from AMG Glass and Metal in Fairfield. Dwayne Glass Works recommended by my friend. And thank god he did. My glass needs are pretty simple.
I buy glass for frames for my art work. Either the original glass broke, or the frame came with really cheap glass that breaks if you stare at it the wrong way, or I need to replace acrylic, etc.
Dwayne's always gives me 1/16" glass custom cut. It is very high quality. But more than the glass, the remarkable thing about this business is that whomever is in the shop stops working on his job and cuts my order for me right then and there. I don't even ask for immediate service. I won't expire if I have to wait a day or two for frame glass. But the staff is so attentive to my needs and so precise in its measurements, cutting, cleaning, and packaging that it reminds me of one of those long gone mom-and-pop businesses where they really cared about building relationships.
Many inferior businesses could learn a lot about professionalism and quality from Dwayne's Glass Works. They're about 5 minutes from my home, but worth the trip from anywhere.
