Dutch Growers Garden Ctr Saskatoon Review

The staff were super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I went expecting to spend an hour just figuring out what I wanted (as I had an idea in mind but not really anything concrete) the lady who helped me in perennials knew some interesting alternatives to the "Top 10" list and gave me plenty of options. I walked away from that section very happy. The other staff member I spoke to was also very knowledgeable, and took the time to help me understand the best way to raise a plant I already had. Overall I spent less than 30 minutes there, but definitely was a good use of time. Thank you to both those ladies!

Masks, Gloves, Lines to follow. Clinically clean, beautiful plants. Staff are great with troubling issues like why are my eggplants yellow?

Dutch Growers usually has a pretty good selection of plants and garden-related things. What I like most about them is their extremely helpful staff. Every time I've approached any of them with a question (and often interrupting their work), they've been patient with me and cheerfully provided an answer or found someone else who would know.

I purchased olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Excellent service from knowledgeable and pleasant staff. Also toured the beautiful greenhouses. Will return when weather is warmer to purchase plants.

Was a really good experience. They have varieties of plants. Can find pretty much anything you are looking for. Staff was nice and supportive.

Great selection, but Plants are expensive!! Some young new staff are nice and try to be helpful, but some of the senior staff need customer service retraining!!

Such a great place. Staff in the plants area are just amazing and so helpful. Only reason I can t give it 5 stars is sometimes the same plants are literally 2x or more the price that they are at other places. Love the store but finding it harder to justify the prices being so much steeper.

Love the selection they have for locally made products! Pricing was fairly decent too.

We have been here a few times now through the seasons. Fall is amazing for the kids with the maze. Spring offers a massive selection of plants and trees. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful with plant selections. We also quite often buy the flavoured oils and vinegar which are also available in the store.

A little pricey but it's the best greenhouse in Saskatoon

I bought some cedars from here. They were fairly priced. But the best part is the employee Codie. She was fantastic. I don't know how someone can have so much information about plants in their head. Thanks Codie! I'm confident my trees will survive!

Lovely spot. Huge fashion room, seasonally decorated for those, like me, who live holiday decor. Staff were super friendly.

Staff are friendly and willing to help, when they're around. When it's busy it's hard to find staff. Prices are a little higher than you'd pay in a box store for the same product but that's because they're small. You definitely wouldn't have the service in a box store like you do here.

Unique shop with a lot more than you'd expect from a nursery.

Fancy, we thought this was going to host a corn maze but we ended up looking through the store anyways. The items seemed be to over priced for what it's worth.

If I could give zero stars, I would. All of the employees are extremely rude and ignorant. High price point, nothing unique, overall bad experience. Don t go here, definitely not worth it.

The staff here are always incredibly knowledgeable about whatever area they happen to be in. I've gotten many herbs from here to grow and they've always done really well. I've also been able to buy really beautiful succulents here. In addition, they have a wonderful selection of clothing and apparel that I always take a look through whenever I'm shopping for gardening supplies.

Ask a question and someone will have an answer. They are awesome.!! I suggest anyone planting or with questions to visit Dutch Growers. You will not be sorry! I love the plants. They are so healthy when you buy them. Also they have other things besides plants; like jewelry, clothes, gift ideas, etc.

They do have some lovely plants, however, the young staff would much rather talk to one another than help the customers.

They even have a clothing store but only for women inside Dutch growers.

I go here every year for my plants because they are good quality and come in large numbers. For a local company they have done very well for themselves. Great selection of plants, garden supplies, and even clothing.

Knowledgeable staff! I bought citrus trees from this location and after a couple months, it wasn t doing well... the staff knew exactly what I was doing wrong with the plant. They offered solutions and knew right away! Anyways they have good prices and a great selection of plants and Pots. Their shop also has great great gift ideas and high quality products! The fudge is great as well! I ll Forsure be back in the future!

Specialist in their own trade. Expensive though, still better than other specialized gardening shops in city. I could get seeds for hydroponic indoor garden in winter from them when other big box stores were out. If available, I shall always try to get a product from Costco or Home depot.

expect to spend money here. even if i go just to look i always leave with something. There is so many awesome things here, from designer clothing,purses,shoes,jewelry. I love the Christmas decorations and so much more. This place is always a must when I'm in saskatoon.

I come once a year with Oyen Greenhouse truck and go home loving my awesome purchases- 2 show off in my yard, house and of course some thing 2 wear. Thanks Jill and Dutch Growers for having such lovely merchandise. Brenda Sanderson

Such a beautiful store with a large array of plant options for your home and yard! I love coming here with my friends to shop! The prices are a little higher, but the exceptional customer service, friendly faces and atmosphere make up for this. Dutch is also full of quality products!

Best place, ever, for instituting covid-19 protocols. Biggest thumbs up is for their insistence that all customers must wear a face covering.

Always love shopping at Dutch Growers for clothes, gifts and plants!! This is my go to place for a lot of different things. I also appreciate that they were one of the first places in Saskatoon to implement a mask policy. I will always support local first and because of this policy I love this place even more and recommend it to everyone!

Went in looking for a specific item while I had my dog with me (pet friendly store) asked for assistance and they pointed me to a corner where it was, but they did not have what we were looking for. Nice store and greenhouse.

Always a great selection of succulents in great health, with very helpful staff as well. I appreciate that unlike other stores there are never any fake flowers glued on to the succulents here. Will definitely return here for another plant purchase when I can justify buying another.

My favourite place to shop for clothes in Saskatoon! A great combination of casual and dressy outfits. Lots of selection with clothes plus you never know what else you'll find there for accessories and decorations. Love the cute little coffee shop in the corner also :)
