I like the store since it was redeveloped about 10 years ago. It is spacious with plenty to choose from. I have an issue with Dunnes in general in that they are very poor in the online retail side of things. And by that I mean the way you return items night online. They really need a lesson from some of the international retailers as far as that goes.

A city shopper's department clothing store with some Irish designer items. Two floors with street floor devoted to clothes and the ground floor a large food Hall.
Loads of variety, there's a supermarket, a homestore section, there's a good selection of good quality clothes for kids and adults. It's really good in here.
For a Dunnes this one probably has the largest selection I have seen. The prices aren't the best but you can find some great specials like the pack of 5 pairs of men's socks for 1 euro! Sales are rampant here and you can always find what you are looking for from bedding to groceries.
Dunnes stores is nice and recommended shopping choice. There are a lot of choices , which a different colors and shapes. I had buy two leather jackets which is cheapest than I saw on line. Different levels of the stores have different product's. But I had facing some problem which is no service or promoter can serve the customer at the right time. You need go look for nearest counter or the dunnes stores staff and ask. I suggest all the corner of the store have some staff. Howver, still have a lot of people come in and just shop what they want.
Patrick st branch staff r vary very rude with customer, every single visit they re same behaved, I am regular customer in this branch, today 1.30 after pay on self service there come to me and told me rudely check out basket need to put back out side not in self service area, that is vary vary vary vary bad, I know dunness store don t care about that
This has to be one of the best Dunnes Stores in the country, ( It's located in the building where the first ever 'Dunnes' opened) with the possible exception of the shop in Stephens Green. It's bright and spacious on four floors. The basement has a very good supermarket, and there is a great little cafe on the top floor with some great city views. The only downside is that staff are hard to find when you have a query, also they installed travelators rather than escalators to get to each floor and they are really slow as most customers don't know how to use them properly. I always use the elevator instead. I'd give a 5* if they improved the two items I mentioned. Location couldn't be better
No parking in this store but other car parks close by. Huge clothing department. Food department in the basement good range...... this store supplies the very tasty award winning kinsale bay food Co. Pates, Fish pie and chowder all gluten free brilliant
Went to the Santa Experience on the top floor. Very good again this year. The elves made a much bigger effort for the kids this year. Much appreciated given how busy they are. As always Santa really looks the part.
Hadn't been here for years. What a change. Huge shop, well laid out. Clear signs as to what was where. Good selection of clothes. Enjoyed my stroll around.
I was Christmas shopping on 3rd floor for homeware and they ran out of bags. So I tried to fit everything in paper bag I had from different store and this bag broke. At this point I was on 1st floor near womens clothing section, but the tills were busy so I asked for bag in shoe section, but the 2 shop assistants there lied to me - I know that because one of them said: "we are not allowed.." and then corrected herself to: "we don't have bags here" because she thought that I came in from the street. So they told me to go and ask at the tills, knowing full well that I won't go there because I had my hands full and they could see that I was struggling to carry my things. At this point I thought it was already pointless to explain that I just shopped in Dunnes, I felt that they just didn't want to help me anyway. 1* for shoe section 4* for homeware. Get your act together!!
Compared to Penney's quality is better. Price might be slightly on a higher end than Penney's. You can also do grocery shopping here. Big store and spacy too
Visited Dunnes stores today I found the food very overpriced ,the staff were rude. There was staff shortage on the tills and there was staff just wondering around twiddling there thumbs , The house were section was very overpriced I went in for a new double duvet cover and thought I was in brown Thomas .Shocked with Dunnes today
Spread over 4 floors, grocery department in the basement, clothing on the first and second floors and it also has a cafe , although there is no parking for this store there are a few places near by. Paul street , Merchants quay, North main steet and Q-park. The Santa experience held there in December is absolutely magical for kids , and the staff are really helpful.
This is a great spot to shop at in the city with staff who are overall very friendly and accommodating. The grocery s croon could do with more organic veg and high quality meats, but other than that it is a great supermarket that is centrally located.
