Duchess of Wisbeach Review

The staff is really nice and the ambiance is cozy and relaxed. The menu was interesting, but my friend s burger steak was overcooked. My food was fine. This place is cool, if you come short notice with friends. The ambiance and friendliness won us over.

Brilliant service and food. Great ore and vibe. Positive energy. In my top 3 for the Atlantic.

The head bar tender is the most rudest person you will ever meet, he abused his power and some one needs to put him in his places. I've heard from alot of friends that he is so rude.

They allow dogs that are well behaved! Nice to find a place to go to dinner after a promenade walk.... A great crowd, good service and good food. Open for drinks until 2am in the morning....

Take it easy on the ABBA. Variety is the spice of life... Be festive by all means but the ABBA every Thursday is tedious.

The food was superb, with special regard to the vegetables. The service was snappy and helpful, but I just cannot eat in a place where you have to shout at your close table companions. Noisy beyond belief!

Fun social upmarket bar. Heard the restaurant is great. Always quite full.

Great drinks in a funky and quaint setting. Smoking is allowed in the bar area which may turn off some people.

Why make a reservation if they cannot live up to it?
Booked 3 weeks in advance a table for 4 people, esp since my brother had made it from overseas..When we arrived, they told us we did not have a reservation and were not on the list. They mentioned they had called me in the morning to reconfirm a booking for which I already had a confirmation? I did not have any missed calls nor an email. Very unprofessional and disappointing. We went home..
