Dream Center Peoria Review

Horrible establishment for the homeless shelter program. Today they kicked everyone out even with the -30 temperature warnings for the next three days. But yes what a great place this is.

I can't thank this place enough! It's a fantastic facility with compassionate staff to help your family grow and feel at peace while rebuilding your life. I'm so grateful for this place and the people that contribute and donate to help others and their families.

We just so happened to be walking by at a time their "Hope Store" was open, and someone coming out told us about it. We were immediately each handed a huge bag, and told we could fill it up with whatever we wanted, household items, and lots of decent quality clothing.
Most of the staff were delightful, though a couple should find something else to do with their time.

They also have apts low income based, now yes there are somethings you have to do in order to continue services. This is a temp situation to help you get in your feet.
They do not oay games!

DO NOT GO IN TO FACILITY!
EVERYONE IS BACK GROUND CHECKED!
Other than that they really are their to do the lords work and help people when in need!

The Dream Center is giving an amazing gift to the City of Peoria by helping lift people out of poverty with dignity and love. They start with the children and teens and work to restore people to wholeness.

Worst place on Earth. Cater to felons like they mean something to society.

First time to ask explained. They said try. I have a 9 year old emotional support dog. Had no services at time. Explained children different directions few hours situation was not good. 63 years old have section 8. Move hard on us both but person staying there claims her dog a service dog? Well mine was excitable under circumstances but she had to put her dog under her shirt . Service dog that would not happen. We had to leave. Used all my money for kitchenette after sleeping in my car. So put me behind on car may lose that. Have section 8 voucher but because of car will have to port back until I find a section 8 house also getting my service dog for my hearing. 1 bedroom voucher no utilities included has to be under 600 and under 700 with. Weekend person morning to late evening so nice. But great to have but filthy. Everyone should be cleaning if not working. Food left out in kitchen. Mops sitting in dirty water. Women sleeping on mattress on floor get that but floor filthy. The worst part church that finds

I was really impressed the place is clean everyone is so friendly helpful I really enjoyed my experience with them

They helped me tremendously they gave me and my family so many blessings I cannot list them and if it was I would give it back I pay it forward to everybody that I could just because they showed me that there are good people in this world

The people at the Dream Center have hearts of gold. They are putting our city first and making sure the people who others overlook are taken care of. I wouldn t want to see our city without the Dream Center at the center of it. Stop by, check it out, and support this great organization any way you can. They are truly caring those who need it most.

So much love and light here with the people there I felt so blessed to have been able to talk and pray with them and very grateful for the clothing..These folks are awesome!

Dream Center Peoria is a faith based social services agency. There is an emergency overnight interim shelter, transitional housing, and an afterschool program.

I personally I have never been there but I have heard a lot of good things about the Dream Center

They are filthey the resdients are rude the food sometimes suxz

I haven't had the best of luck. Staff has tried and so has some of the church people.

A fantastic group of humans working to deliver a brighter future for those in need, exactly what we should all be doing.

Very Loved place. It is also a shelter. For families that are homeless. Have to be their before 8:00pm.

They do a lot of amazing and positive things for the Peoria community.
