I had a bank.. they even invited me on their small business podcast, and asked me to do a testimonial. But when my work equipment got destroyed during covid? They wouldn t write me a new loan because my industry was on their covid naughty list. This was even on the same day their marketing person had reached out to me. So several members of the community stepped up and referred me to Drake Bank and Daniel Batten. Daniel put me on the top of his to do list and got me back in business and up and running again in three business days. I wasn t the hottest opportunity on his desk, but he got on it. So yeah. Old banking relationship ended traumatically, but I ve got a hot new relationship with Drake and Daniel so there you go.

Best ATM in town. It feels like silk on your fingers and glows with the vivacity of an angel. It dispenses nothing but the finest of bills and each one smells as though it was blessed by Buddha and the Pope themselves.

I have done my personal and business banking at Drake for many years. I initially chose Drake because it was close to my work and it was a community bank. I have stayed with Drake because of the fantastic customer service I have received there. The staff at Drake bank really care about their customers, and go out of their way to help me when I need it. When I have a question about my accounts I either call or stop into the bank and there is always someone available and happy to help me. I highly recommend Drake Bank!

Some employees rude and condescending. One didn't even know about the texting for bal/history and it seemed to upset her... will post more after I change my direct deposit to another bank. Worst bank I've ever dealt with.

I've been working with Drake bank and Bill Lesher for the last several years and it started off as a positive one, but has since diminished into one requiring a lot of overhead and complete shortsightedness. I would strongly avoid doing business with Drake Bank. They are borderline predatory in their practices, and simply do not support small businesses. Avoid working with this bank, they do not have your back. A complete joke.

Drake Bank has been a great bank for us for over 10 years now. We went with a smaller bank for better customer service and a small town bank "feel". Their the best. During their recent new on-line banking transition Annemarie and Melissa along with other operations staff have been terrific and have worked with us directly to customize our multiple accounts and profiles. Keep up the great work and excellent customer service.

Our family business switched to Drake bank a little over six months ago after leaving a local bank that we have been with for over 40 years and what a difference it has made. My personal connection with Drake was with Bill VP of commercial lending he was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. When you walk in they make you feel like your part of their family I would highly recommend taking a look at Drake bank for all your banking needs.

Charge a 5 dollar fee even if the check you're cashing is from this bank. Horrible policy even the big banks don't do that

My business partner and I had a great experience with Ken Schaefer and his team at Drake Bank re: a recent real estate transaction in the Twin Cities. Ken was a terrific communicator, and he was always punctual and thorough; he never missed a beat! We look forward to working with Ken and Drake Bank in the future!

I was refused service by this bank, the staff was very roundabout and not very helpful.

I walked in on a Friday 30 minutes to close looking to make an account with the bank. I asked if it was an inconvenience to open account this late in the day and if so I would just come back the following week when I had time. The banker told me opening an account takes 45 minutes. I thought that seemed long, but I figured no harm no foul I ll come back next week.

When I arrived early morning next week to set up an account, I asked for the free checking option and explained that I managed a business in the neighborhood and my primary use of the account was to stop in weekly and make change for my till at work. The banker then informed me that the minimum deposit would require $50 to open the account. This seemed very high to me, like she was trying to get me to walk out the door. I had brought $20 with me to make the account but did have additional funds in my vehicle which I went and grabbed. By the time I got back I was told that they would not do business with me because the account would not be active enough. Just absurd.

P.S. I opened a bank account at a nearby bank. It took 8 minutes and $10 deposit.

Our company was sick and tired of the impersonal service, extensive fees and complications of dealing with our big national bank so we reached out to Drake to see what they could do for us. I am THRILLED with the personal service, attention to our banking needs, willingness... EAGERNESS to help us meet our goals and the EASE of doing business at Drake! Dan Batten treats us like we're family. He is always prompt in responding to any call or question, and he and the Drake team have changed our banking from dreadful to EXCEPTIONAL.

FYI: I am not a friend or relative of anyone at Drake, nor do I know anyone who works there. We are a smaller business in St Paul that just wanted to be treated with respect and get good service from a bank, and we wanted a COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP with a bank that cared about helping our business grow and succeed. I called Drake and simply inquired about services... what we discovered is that there is NO comparison between our previous banking experience and the amazing service we get from Dan and Drake Bank. They are interested in our business, committed to helping us achieve our goals and treat us like a valued customer... something we did not get from the bigger corporate bank.
