from Department of Basic Science(Medical science)
Degree awarded,and,thesis,completion year (1994-1995)

It was my first UG college and love whole environment, campus, seniors and faculty!!!!

An awesome place with nice campus .. especially whole facilities and design of the campus. Buildings and auditorium

Staff is very hospitable and helpfull . Uni campus is splendid .

I had done my M.Sc from this university.... 2005 to 2007..

This is an excellent university to study horticulture and forestry. It has a very beautiful huge campus. The admission to the university is through an entrance exam held every year. Practicals are arranged in nearby farms. It has good hostel facility for girls and boys. Scientists at the university are very cooperative and will provide you a lot of information regarding agriculture. Nice place to visit.

Beautiful place..best Forestry university in india.

I got the oppertunity to earn three degree programme i.e. BSc Forestry. MSc Forestry (silviculture) and Ph.D Forestry(silviculture) from this one of the premier institute ofAsia. This is one of the best University of ICAR.

I am going to this university so please my seniors tell me are jobs after m. Sc and p.hd

Beautiful University campus situated in the mid hill zone of Himachal Pradesh ( Western Himalayas). Established in 1st December, 1985.

One of the best campus in educational institutions of himachal pradesh.
A big playground ,auditorium,and all other facilities are available .The university has a very large area under it having different fields of fruits, vegetables, floriculture etc.
The environment is very congenial for studying.......

There was no guidance or attendees for orchard visit.

UHF Nauni. Well just one word. You gotta study there to enjoy what lies there. I did not but had few friends there and used to visit the campus along with them. Beautiful, well maintained campus with almost everything you need of daily needs. Nauni is just one step away from there, Solan just 15kms. The road of main entrance to campus is pretty bad that's why I took away two stars. Been a long time since it's the same.

One of the most beautiful (natural) University campuses in India. Try to spend some time walking in the campus once work is over, and enjoy the pleasant weather. No student politics. Very peaceful campus. Best faculties and Best environment for studies.

I am thankful to lord for selecting this place for me...After failed attempts to crack pre-Med tests, I Undertook B.Sc horticulture here. And it turned out to be the most awesome 4 years of my life.

The Climate, The Infrastructure, The Seniors, The Friends we made, The Canteen, The Library the Professors...All synergistically added value and shaped me a better person, and as a human today.

All things which I came across here; have a deep imprint in my memory and will always be cherished.

Cradle of horticulture right on the lap of mother nature and it's rich Himalayan mountains. This building is the auditorium, a massive structure, beautifully crafted like an opera house that could easily house more than 700 persons. It is equipped with air-conditioning, lights fans, spot lights, focus lights, modern stage lightings, reclining seats, surround sound system and adequate fire and safety systems This is where almost all the programs of YSP are held and it will surely leave an impression on the guests who attend them.

Spent seven years of my life at Nauni and enjoyed most of it. BSc in Forestry followed by a MSc in Forestry (Forest Products).

I loved this place .. it's environment beauty , the mountains , the infrastructure , the hostels ,, everything is beautiful here .. the kind of education is very impressive .. the sns library where u find numerous books , magazine, cera ,online computer centre , the area is very beautiful campus life just amazing ,, very well auditorium ,, playground the tournament ,professor ,, everything is just awesome here ,, the beautiful University in Himachal pradesh
