I have been going to see Dr. Clarizio and his staff for dental work since I was a little kid and it has always been an extremely pleasant and professional experience. Last spring when I was a college-bound senior in high school, I felt self conscious about my crooked teeth but was extremely hesitant about getting braces. I wanted nothing less than a mouth full of metal for my prom, graduation, summer, and first weeks of college. However, Dr. Clarizio assured me that I could get a smile I was proud of in no time at all! He outfitted me with off-white braces instead of the traditional metal ones which made them significantly less visible. Some of my friends I saw every day never even knew I had them! The best part- my smile was straight in just 4 months! The entire process was fast and painless and once I got them off, I got small permanent retainers put in behind my teeth to ensure that they will stay perfect! Overall, a very great experience!
He knows his stuff, gets right to it. He's relaxed and friendly, puts you at ease, you can tell this guy is super-competent. Also, the work stays done. I haven't had any lingering problems or anything come back up to re-hande in the years I've been going to see him. Nice family-oriented office, good staff who communicate well. You'll want to recommend him to your friends and family.

If you happen to be like me, going to the dentist is anticipated with anxiety and dread and about the last thing in the world I want to do. I have to say though, going to Dr Clarizio's Dental Office turned my fears into a pleasurable experience from the minute I walked into the office. I wanted to share a few experiences I have had with Dr. Clarizio to let my friends and relatives know what happened to me. After years of neglect I had gums bleeding, decay and bad breath. I visited a dentist and two periodontists. I was told all my gums needed to be cut open, cleaned out and stitched up. Would take about four weeks and i would be on painkillers and antibiotics. Dr Clarizio did the entire job in about two hours. No
stitches, no pain, no cutting, no antibiotics I was completely new and fresh the same day.
Eating steak the next day. Couple years later I experienced incredibly painful headaches. I visited three doctors including a neurologist, had an MRI and Cat/Scan.
I was told i had a nerve in my brain that was touching another nerve and I was referred to a brain surgeon. As a final hope I visited Dr. Clarizio. After months of agony, I was diagnosed, treated and pain free within an hour, Since that visit i have been totally pain free. I was also fortunate to have Dr. Clarizio do cosmetic surgery for me, The results were sensational. My family and friends were just raving about the results. They look so natural, the aesthetics are unreal and Dr. Clarizio really nailed the color. Many people couldnt put their finger on it but told me I looked younger. They are also great for weddings and family photos. I guess it helps having a perfectionist do the work for you. Dr. Clarizio's office is state of the art and impeccably clean. His people are top notch, impressively competent, jump through hoops for you and create a fun enjoyable experience. I have never waited more than 10-15 minutes to be seen, and several times Dr. Clarizio has rearranged his schedule to see me when i needed emergency help. This guy is a real pro.
I ve been coming to this dental office for years. I ve also gone to several other dentists in my life. I travel about an hour plus to go here. The main thing that I love is that they re very informative. Dr Clarizio will go over all the options he can provide and give you a detailed explanation of why you should do the next step. The best part is you can freely decide on your own based off the information you receive. Highly recommend for specialty situations where you feel you need that extra care.
Amazing....After my dads bridge came apart one call to the office and Rosalie quickly got my dad in for one of the first appointments the very next morning. They provided a chair lift for him to get him up to the office. Everyone was professional and caring . The office was super clean and the staff followed covid safe care. They were able to temporarily fix the bridge and offer further options for follow up.. Highly recommend this office for professional caring care to all. Dr. Vito G. Clarizio is a incredible dentist who prides himself with the most updated equipment, office staff and a dental team that surpass expectation. The waiting area has comfortable chair's, magazines, and if that don't interest you, watch some cable tv or a movie. I find going to this dental office they treat me above and beyond. Dr Clarizio was recommended to me by a colleague to whom I had related my negative dental experiences. I had broken crowns, serious decay and trouble eating. In fact, I could not eat on the right side at all. In addition, I had worries about choking and swallowing.

I took my anti dental work boyfriend here. My bf is a HUGE baby about dentists. We went here- the staff was AMAZING- family oriented. Not only did they take AMAZING care of my bf- BUT OF ME TOO AND I WAS IN THE WAITING ROOM. My bf came out SMILING after a root canal. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I have been a patient of Dr. Clarizzio for close to 20 years. Him and his staff have always been so professional, kind, and trustworthy. I now live in Long Island and bring my whole family into this practice because of how they run their practice. About 2 weeks ago, My 8 year old son fell and chipped his front tooth late Saturday evening. He was in an awful panic and shock. I immediately called Dr. Clarizzio's office and got the emergency line. Thankfully Rosalie picked up and told me exactly what to do. I rushed from Long Island to Whitestone because my son needed to be seen ASAP. They kept the office open for us and took such great care of my son when we arrived. We were extremely grateful. Rosalie has followed up several times afterwards to see how my son is doing- which is just so kind and caring. I wish everybody worked like this. This is why I will be a patient for life. I've been going to Dr. Clarizio all of my life and I have always had a great experience. My entire extended family goes to Dr. Clarizio as well and everyone loves him! Growing up I could never relate to my friends about their terrible and painful experiences with the dentist - I have never left my dentist without a (sparkling white) smile. The office is very modern and well kept. They have rooms specially designed for children as well. A great dentist for the whole family.

So let me start off by saying that I originally was not a patient of dr Clarizio's , I was going to another local dentist in the neighborhood for some time. I had work done on my teeth about 2 years ago and had a crown put in, I really really dislike going to the dentist N I really don't like to run to the dentist i try and wait to hold things off and pretend or hope that it will just go away. well needless to say this crown that I had put in gave me hell for 2 years ! my bite was off and I went to my original dentist who did the work a few times and told him that something just didn't feel right and that my back teeth were hitting first when closing my mouth . He told me that I was grinding my teeth and that I needed a night guard ! Well blah blah blah I ordered a night guard and I never used it but my teeth were getting worse ...I didn't know what else to do, my mother suggested I go to Dr Vito Clarizio and he would take a look .... WELLLLLLLL AFTER BEING IN HIS OFFICE for about 1/2 hour AND TELLING HIM WHAT MY ISSUE WAS HE ADJUSTED MY BITE !!!!!! Omggggg I felt so much relief I hadn't felt like that in so very Long !!!!! As an adult I had concerns about fixing and straightening a crooked tooth I had since childhood. I continued to put it off year after year. Until one day Dr. Clarizio took me into his care and assured me he was going to help me handle something which I had been struggling with my whole life. Within months, literally three months, I had a perfectly straight smile. No one could notice throughout this whole time that I had braces. Three years ago, I was researching a dentist that would be able to help me with either invisalign or the six month smile and came upon Dr. Clarizio's name. I made an appointment and was immediately impressed with the professionalism of not only Dr. Clarizio but of his entire staff. He is such a professional who goes above and beyond for the needs of his patients including sometimes seeing me outside of normal hours to accommodate my schedule. The first thing I want to say about Dr. Clarizio is that when you are in his care you can have complete confidence that you are in very secure and competent hands. You come to realize the work that he will do is of very high quality and always with your well-being in mind. This is because Dr. Clarizio is obviously very knowledgeable in his field and he really cares about his patients and their individual situations. He does not have pre-fixed ideas of what should be done and therefore only does what is necessary based on his professional observations. I have also personally experienced nervousness previously going to other dentists but on my visits to Dr. Clarizio he always understands me and manages to make me feel more relaxed and that everything is going to be okay. He is a throwback to the days when doctors had that bedside manner that we wish all of our professionals that we deal with today, still had.

Words cannot express the gratitude I have towards this office. Under these bad times I started having severe pains in my molar area. I did not know what to do but tried calling the emergency line with not much hope of being seen. I was dead wrong. Rosalie answered upon the first ring, I explained the situation and was seen the same day. The office is impeccably clean. The Dentist figured out what my issue was. Not dental. He proceeded to treat my pain with a laser. Took him a long time and his patience did not falter. I walked out of that office pain free!!
Complete service with kindness and care. It was an emergency visit and both the dentist and assistant stayed late to Accomodate. The dentist gave me all the options and made me very comfortable. I actually enjoy going to this dental office despite the minor discomfort .

Dr. Vito Clarizio is no question the best dentist in NY! Here is why: My husband walked around with intense tooth pain for 3 years. He had a series of root canals, second and third opinions and no one could stop his pain. He started to think that he had to just live with the pain. Finally, Steve went to see Dr. Clarizio and after two questions, "Does it hurt here or here" he touched the opposite side of where the pain was and he asked again and touched the other side "Does it hurt here or here". After hearing my husband's response Dr Clarizio said, "I know what the problem is!"
He handled the problem with one root canal in one visit, which we never heard of. My husband has been pain free ever since. Dr. Clarizio is a very no nonsense, problem solving, painless dentist!
Additionally my kids love to go to the Dentist if you can believe it. They have video games, TV, fun kids room, gifts and the works!

Dr. Clarizio is the best dentist ever! I first went to Dr. Clarizio for a routine checkup. When I got to his office, his staff were very friendly & welcoming and they made me feel right at home. Then I met with Dr. Clarizio and his assistant Laura. I was very nervous about dental visits as I hadn't been for quite some time, but within the first 5 minutes of meeting him he put me completely at ease - which is something I have never experienced at a dental office before. Vito not only carried out the regular checkup, but took the time to look further into a discomfort I was having with a specific tooth which I had just briefly mentioned. It turned out I had a bad root canal from a previous dental visit and Dr. Clarizio found that the tooth needed to come out ASAP! In my next visit, Vito extracted my tooth. I hadn't had a tooth pulled since I was a kid, and I remembered it being full of pain and discomfort (like every other dentist appointment I had through the years with other dentists, from routine checkups to braces). Vito, however, made the whole procedure completely painless; not once was I worried, or did I feel any discomfort for that matter. The best part was that my mouth actually felt BETTER after getting the tooth that had been bothering me removed. I had finally handled a longstanding discomfort. I am now awaiting an implant and I know with full certainty that because of Vito I have nothing to worry about, and that this procedure will be painless as well. He is the best dentist that I have ever been to. Not only does he put you at ease, but he is a true professional at what he does. He performs his craft with full certainty and his care for each individual patient is very clear. I want to give a sincere thank you to Vito and his assistant Laura for making me actually enjoy going to the dentist, and for taking the time to really make sure we handled my teeth.
