The office staff is terrible. I called at 8 am and several times through the day and Brenda kept telling me that she didn't have an answer yet. I called right before closing and Jessica answered and said they still didn't have an answer. Not responding to a call for entire day is unacceptable.

Dr. Cox is only taking new patients if they don't have United Health insurance, and his front-desk gal, Brenda, won't even explain why (other than they have too many). Not a very good first impression.

horrible experience. was referred by Tricare for my son who is 4. was not knowledgeable about pediatrics at all. acted as if he'd never treated nor seen a child in his career. asked him about immunizations and he looked as if I spoke a different language. literally argued with me about what shots were needed and not and spoke to me like I'm stupid. once i told him i was a nurse then his attitude changed real quick. office staff is horrible, rude and no personality whatsoever. Will never go there again and changing his PCM right now as we speak. very disappointing bedside manner and how we were treated. do not ever recommend this office to anyone.

Been going to Dr. Cox for 9 years and he's always taken great care of me and my wife. He takes the time to listen to his patients and is pleasant and agreeable. He is very informed regarding pharmaceuticals. I'm 64 and I can't remember ever having a better doctor.

Dr. Cox has been my doctor for several years and always gives me sound advice and my health has improved a lot under his care. I was a mess waiting to happen before seeing him. He always prescribes reasonably price meds and is always available.

Dr. Cox is a knowledgeable, helpful physician to work with. He s one of a rare breed of physicians these days who actually lays hands on you to see what s going on with the body instead of just writing a prescription.

Brenda is the office manager, she keeps everything flowing smooth as can be. Recently, I had to have a few referrals (I m Tricare Prime which is a pain to work with), Brenda took care of the referrals quickly, efficiently which enabled a smooth transition for me to the referred doctor. She answers all questions I had for her and has always been professional in nature.
The nurses and other staff I ve had the pleasure of being seen by are all helpful, knowledgeable and kind.
After reading other reviews it makes me wonder if they reviewed the correct page.

Does not have enough knowledge to treat anything besides prescribing bp meds, having colds, basic elementary & basic refills. Horrible bedside manner & is nvr in a hurry to get your meds filled so you may be out for several weeks. Even if its life sustaining meds like blood thinner,bp, thyroid.. you'll go without for weeks until you have to seek emergency care and footing tht bill will be your responsibility too.

Dr. Stephen Cox is a very nice, personable , and thorough doctor. However, his staff is rude and inconsiderate. One day I was running late for an appointment which I understand was my fault, but when I arrived at the appointment the office manager told me that I was taking up appointments for people who are actually sick. She doesn t know what elements or what sicknesses I have. I suffer from major depression and extremely anxiety ,and just because I don t seem sick on the outside does not mean I m not! She should stick to managing the phones and let the doctor do the medical diagnosis.
