I had right knee replacement ( Uni compartmental ) and 2 years later a left knee arthroscopy performed by Dr Simon Smith. Brilliant professional Orthopaedic surgeon in my opinion. I have recommended him to other family members and friends.

I can t recommend Simon enough had a Total Knee Replacement 2 weeks ago and he and his staff have been amazing I am walking and bending my knee with minimal pain we are so very lucky to have him here in the South West
Very disappointed and frustrated with his office. MRI referral was misplaced. Three weeks later a new one was faxed to SKG. Documents were signed to get all my surgery records sent from Canberra. (I m a returned vet, approx 14 knee ops, and covered by DVA) . Documents never arrived, no record of requesting them. Was also told that Dr Smith would contact me regarding the results of the MRI. Never heard from him. I made follow up phone calls.....nothing. Would not recommend him or his office from this experience.
I had a total right hip replacement, and a total left knee replacement, in 2018 and could not speak more highly of the quality of the service I received from Simon. Staff at his rooms were also very friendly and super efficient. Quality service from a caring and highly professional surgeon. Highly recommended...
I had two replacement hip operations, the first in 2015 and the second in 2017. Dr Simon Smith was a very caring and communicative surgeon. Both operations healed quickly and I have been very active post surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr Smith. He is young and energetic and we are lucky to have him here in the South West.
