My experience with Dr. Delboccio has always been fantastic. From the moment I entered the door, the staff has always been engaging, courteous, friendly and professional.
Dr. Delboccio s work is painless, meticulous and beautiful and at a very fair, honest price. I have recommended him to friends as well as family and feel so blessed to have found him after trying other dentists in the city.

Be advised to stay away from this dentist. I was an actual patient and wasn't "encouraged" to leave a positive review like many others on here. I had a dental emergency and needed to see a dentist immediately. Richard Delboccio did see me quickly, for that I will give credit. The problem is that I was given an erroneous diagnosis. I was told that I would need to have a tooth extracted immediately. I was encouraged to get it done on the spot. I was asked to pay for a temporary prosthetic, which I did. I felt uncomfortable being rushed into such a permanent decision. I sought a second opinion later that day. The second dentist calmed me down and told me that there were other, less drastic treatment options.

I phoned Delboccio's office to make them aware of the situation. I asked for a refund for the prosthetic tooth I would no longer need. They apologized and told me a refund would be coming shortly. That was weeks ago. I've followed up multiple times, I've been transferred to several different employees and Richard's wife/office manager, and still they have been unwilling to refund my money.

There are obviously two concerns here... one is the money they are unjustly keeping. The second, and far more important, is the fact that they didn't have the right equipment or knowledge to determine the proper course of treatment for me. I could have made a horrible mistake by continuing to see this dentist.

I plan on filing a complaint with the American Dental Association. I feel that it's my duty to inform future potential patients that their level of service is poor, and their attitude towards me was reprehensible.

Please consider my advice before selecting this dentist.

Always clean and efficient. Dr. Delboccio is excellent. Staff is awesome.

Staff is friendly, always greet you with a smile. Dr. DelBoccio answers all of your questions and makes sure you leave his office happy with his work.

Be Aware!
Get a second opinion on all his judgement. He left my father in pain and was trying to force me to get my two perfectly fine teeth filled as well. It was very suspicious that he wanted to fill my teeth that day and would not give me another option! He kept saying "there is time today, we can do it today". After a good thought, I went to a different dentist, and the new dentist performed x-rays and said I have no cavities. It was explained that I have very thick enamel and until that enamel breaks down, it's not easy for me to get a Cavity. If you want to trust this man, make sure he takes an X Ray before he touches you because if your mouth suddenly starts hurting, another dentist will be able to explain why! Why do these people get to keep their license? I don't know! It's fraud.

Dr. Delboccio here in Naples has an AMAZING hygienists. Yesterday I was due for my six months cleaning and Nancy did an incredible job with my teeth and made the entire experience stress-free. Very professional and excellent customer service from beginning to end. I highly recommend this office for any service. Thanks Nancy! Romona

Not to waste much time.. I went recommended by an employee that used to work there.. what a mistake.. nice to you until you write a good recommendation.. then everything goes wrong.. after two times of my replaced tooth falling out I finally went to another dentist.. now they have not sent my x-rays to me.. with more than enough allotted time. I have seen him respond to bad reviews by ....blocking it if you will with the person writing is not a patience but the husband wrote it. Or this review, there is always an excuse.. I am a real patient.. who had the worst experience ever.. as the staff pushes you to constantly get something done.. they claim they have to.. funny no other ( have had great dentists in my past and thankfully a great one now) they have NEVER harassed me like this ..

i am a big baby when it comes to the dentist. Dr Delboccio is very professional, and has a very very gentle touch. he is very conservative regarding treatment.... tries to save you money if possible.... he did accept my insurance... office staff is so nice.. and calming... He follows his schedule carefully... i have NEVER had to wait for my appointment. ALSO, he can do a crown IN OFFICE-- (in most cases) You go into the office and out with the crown the in the same appointment!!!! The crown fit perfectly!! the biggest compliment i could give would be a recommendation to others.... and i do highly recommend him and his office staff... thanks!

Great doc! Personable and made me feel very comfortable, explained each step of my care then followed up with a personal call next morning to be sure all was well. Can't say that I would recommend Dr. Richard Delboccio to anyone. Came into the place to find out that it is dirty and uninviting. There are many places to get your teeth cleaned in Naples, and this one performs below average standard. The whole office has a bad attitude and they are also rude to their clients. I felt rushed, not cared for and unsatisfied with my teeth cleaning service. They were quite disorganized and I had to wait 40 min for my appointment. Go somewhere else if you desire to have anything other than an uncomfortable experience.

Every time I come to this dental office the staff is always very attentive and if I need help with anything I get the answer on the spot. The hygienist and Dr.DelBoccio give great care and advice for my teeth. I would refer anyone to this dental office where they have the best team.

I would advise using better judgment and avoid this dental practice. I read some of the online reviews and thought it best to form my own opinion. Perhaps I should have paid heed to what I read.

I respect that companies are in business to make money, and don't resent paying for services rendered. It becomes more of a problem when I pay for things and don't get what I paid for. Richard Delboccio came up on a Google search for dentists who can handle dental emergencies. I was seen promptly, and for that I applaud their office.

The difficulty comes when they suggest a plan of action, ask for the money up front, then don't deliver the goods. I made the mistake of paying in cash as opposed to using a credit card. I would have had better luck getting a refund from my credit card company. I have not been very fortunate getting adequate service after submitting payment to the practice.

Doubting my issue would ever get resolved, I eventually found another dentist who gladly took care of my needs. I would post his name, but don't want to reference a solid practitioner on this negative review.

Have not receieved my flipper refund. Has been almost two months. Have been contacting them nonestop. They had no probem taking my 800 dollars from me and never giving it back as the order was cancelled the same day due them misdiagnosing me and giving me a treatment plan that was unnecessary, traumatic, and extremely long. They told me (including tammy herself) that they will refund me and failed to do so. I will be taking further action as i gave them plenty of time to fix this.

We had to pay for medical procedures that would have been covered by our insurance had Dr. Delboccio bothered to contact our insurance or follow their regulations for proper insurance coverage. We feel the monetary needs of his office were put ahead of the patients welfare and insuring that the patient received not only proper dental care but all benefits due the patient were also researched. Shame on Dr. Delboccio and his staff for his treatment of Senior citizens on a fixed income . We do not recommend him and we will be filing a formal complaint with our insurance. If I could give him a negative star rating I would gladly do so.

I have been to a few dentist in Naples since I moved 14yrs ago because of ins changes. From the first time I walked in the door the staff has treated me like no other office.They really care and you are not just a number. I have been delighted with the staff and the doctors work that if my ins. changes I will still come to this office.Sometimes money does not matter. Excellent service and quality is what counts!

As soon I enter the office a great welcome from the desk personnel .Then they call me inside at my appointment scheduled .And Dr Richard Delboccio and his assistant start working in fixing my crown.Not pain or discomfort at all while he was doing my crown .It look awesome.And the next day I received a phone call from the office to check how I was doing.He is a amazing dentist and I have been done a lot of dental work with him.I recommend him 100%. ALWAYS LEAVE HIS OFFICE VERY SATISFIED.

Avoid this dentist and the pain he inflicts. He performed an unnecessary procedure on my wife. He ordered an appliance which wasn't required, didn't fit and refused to refund the money after he said that we would. I'm not sure why he would keep telling her that a refund check was in the mail and not send it. To add insult to injury (literally), he has the gall to mail her the appliance she can't use. As though it is some kind of justification for his poor service and office procedures.
It's unlikely I'll ever get my money back without taking him to small claims court. This takes time and a $350 filing fee. And a day off of work to go explain the situation to a judge on the other side of town.
I am sharing this experience with you so hopefully you can learn from my dealings with this shoddy dental practice. I believe if enough people post positive and negative reviews of their experiences in Naples, service will improve and the bad apples will be weeded out. This guy shouldn't still be in business. I've never been treated so poorly. Only after I found a new dentist did it become clear how bad it was here. The upshot: there are decent and reputable dentists in Naples, you just have to look a little further to find one. Obviously don't look here:(

I have had many bad experiences with dental work in the past but I now am not afraid to go to the dentist. Dr. DelBoccio makes sure that the work he performs is painless and I appreciate that.

Dr. Richard DelBoccio is a superb dentist. He did everything he could to make me welcome and comfortable. I am more than amored that they were able to save my smile.

Dr. Richard Delboccio and his office team does not care about their clients. Their primary goal is to pull out teeth regardless of the fact that they can be fixed with a safer, faster, and much less expensive option. They are quick to refer you to a surgeon because, well it is the longest option that will get them the biggest amount of money. They don't have proper equipment to tell if a tooth can be repaired or not, and so far the have kept their business above water because of the desperate and vulnerable people they take advantage of. I have heard nothing but horrible news about this place after doing some research and finally deciding to go elsewhere for a different opinion. May I warn you that they freak out if you go get a second opinion! Probably because their office is faulty and based on scamming clients!! Not to mention that their office was dirty, had gross stains everywhere, was disorganized and unpleasant, but not as unpleasant as you will feel after they take your teeth and money without ever having an intention of fixing anything...

Dr. Richard Delboccio has been taking care of my teeth for many years & has done an amazing job on keeping me healthy. The office is always clean & the staff is really helpful & very detailed & informative with the type of work that s needs to be done. The Dr. & the staff make you feel right at home, no stress & no worries.

Warning! Becareful if you are considering Dr. Richard Delboccio as your dentist. My daughter had the worst experience. Instead of trying to fix teeth they would rather pull them out!!!! Even if it is not necessary! They call it their "professional opinion" but in reality they just want your money with no intention of actually doing what is best for the client! On top of everything he sent her out of the office with the tooth still cracked!!! What kind of dentist does that? So happy that we went and got a second opinion.. Please do your research. ALSO, know that they will take your money right away! She had ordered a flipper with them for 800$, when she cancelled the order the FOLLOWING day after getting a second opinion, thy told her for almost two months that they would refund her!!!! But the LIED, they didnt refund her, ignored her calls and emails after telling her that they sent out the check, just to send the flipper to her that she doesnt need and that wasent adjusted, ALMOST TWO MONTHS LATER!!!! They told her to screw off and that they cant refund her anymore due to the fact that she cancelled the order less than 24 hous after making it, but at the same time they didnt send the flipper for TWO MONTHS! They kept her money, and her flipper for two months!!!!!! Terrible!!! Save your money! And your teeth!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

I can say that this business is one that you should avoid at all costs. Dr. Richard Delboccio and his office doesnt care about its clients and their wellbeing. Trust me when i say that they make their money from scamming people and promising work without delivering it. This office relies on mostly referrals which makes total sense so that they can take advantage of people that are sick and hopeless. There are many good dental offices in Naples, and this is not one of them. They will ignore all your calls and emails. Dental care is something that is important to me and i was so upset leaving the office. I dont understand how a business can be so negligent and provide services that are way below the average standard. The worst this about it all is that they will do absolutely nothing to resolve the issues they have with their practice.

Dr. Delboccio was able to squeeze me in to fix a chipped tooth and ever since then I have been going back to him. He is gifted with Novocaine! Hi all!! I have been a patient of Richard DelBoccio for almost a year now!! I give the practice 5 stars! The Staff is exceptional!! Dr DelBoccio is so friendly and caring!!! I have had my teeth cleaned by the best hygienists!! I just finished with my 2nd crown!! Let me tell you, I feel like I m with family ever time I m there!!! My husband and I found Dr. DelBoccio through the UFT website after a disappointing experience with another dentist. What a find! From the moment we walked in we were impressed with the cleanliness of the office and warmth of staff. The protocols to protect everyone from COVID included air purification, PPE, and staff clothing left for cleaning at the end of each day. Dr. DelBoccio respected our time and efficiently planed work so our number of visits was reduced. His social skills made our visits enjoyable and his work ( a bridge for my husband, and for me a new crown and replacing very old amalgam fillings with white ones) is excellent. Everything fit perfectly first time around. We highly recommend this caring, funny and open dentist.

I have been going here regularly for quite a while and don't recognize anything they could do better as a dentist office,
Update 6-17-20: as of today I am extremely happy with the service I've received, simple, clean no issues, only satisfaction, thank you I hope this helps others.
