I have really thought about this for a while and have been so disappointed. The surgery was a success in the fact that I m alive and well, however it did not fix any of the issues that I was experiencing. First and foremost, don't expect much of Doctor Stanton s bedside manner, it is very short. The day of surgery I was nervous and had a few further questions and Doctor Stanton seemed annoyed with me that I had any questions to ask. I am just under a year out of surgery currently and all my symptoms in my arms are back, full tingling, more numbness and throbbing. My husband lost his job during the pandemic and unfortunately, we lost our insurance. So, in the interim we have Medicaid. I called to the office to tell them about my issues and said I really needed to be seen and they said Doctor Stanton denied seeing me due to me having Medicaid. I feel abandoned by him and am not even sure who to turn to that will see me and figure this out. Calling the medical board seems necessary at this point. Desiree, who contacted me back to let me know that Doctor Stanton was unwilling to see me didn't even give me the opportunity to pay cash to him or suggest another Doctor I could see! Very disheartening. Having Cigna and being seen with no problems, to now having to have Medicaid and being turned away you can definitely see that this Doctor puts the $ before the care!! Luckily we will have new insurance soon and will choose a Doctor who truly cares about his patients well being and not abandon them during a time of crisis in the world!
