Very impressed with the friendliness of the front desk and my technician s (Cynthia) level of professionalism and expertise.
Dr Alessi explained everything in detail and addressed all my concerns. He also gave me what expectations to have for the treatment and went over alternate procedures. He was so kind and reassuring.
The procedure itself was painless and I m looking forward to seeing the results which for this procedure take up to 12 weeks, although I am starting to see more definition in my abs!!!!!

I saw Dr. Alessi for my TMJ as a new patient. He treated me by injection and I was feeling better before leaving. Excellent bed side manner and thorough. The staff fitted me in ASAP and were very welcoming. I would definitely recommend Dr. Alessi.
I saw Dr. Alessi on October 1, 2015, for a consult for constant sinus infections & breathing issues as well as rhinoplasty. My surgery was scheduled for October 16th. At my post-op(s) on October 19 everything was fine. On October 22nd the bandages came off and I found a large bump right in between my eyebrows. On October 28th I emailed the office to schedule another post-op where Dr. Alessi said the bump was a bone spicule. I went in November, December, and January for him to check the spicule and per his chart notes the piece of bone was shrinking. On March 28th, 2016 I went in for removal of the spicule. Dr. Alessi used instruments to go through the nostril and shave down the spicule as well as the left side of my nose.
There is no chart note for that appointment and no note refers to the spicule removal. After that appointment, I developed, what Dr. Alessi would go on to call a "pseudocyst." From 5/24/16 to 1/28/19 I was injected 16 times with chemotherapy, 5-FU, and 2 times with Sclerodex. In between injections, he went in through my nostrils 2 more times to revise the shape of the rhinoplasty and to remove the cyst, totaling 1 major surgery and 3 revisions.
After each revision (through the nostril) the cyst would come back 2-3 days later. I begged for Dr. Alessi to cut the bump out of my nose. I told him very plainly that I did not care about a scar. Each time he would say "okay, next time," his chart notes reflect that as well. I would schedule the excision, but when I arrived he would see me and say he wants to try one more injection. On January 28th, 2019 I went in for the scheduled excision, where Dr. Alessi was going to cut out the cyst. When he finally came in Dr. Alessi felt around my nose and said I'm not going to cut it out today. He said "you're too pretty for a scar." I left his office furious and emailed to request my records. In my records I found: 1. Missing chart note from the firs revision which resulted in the "cyst." There is also no note about my sedation or even them calling in the 2 prescription(s). I was also allowed to drive home after. 2. My diagnosis at my consultation was Sinusitis. The last 8 months of treatment my diagnosis was: Chronic Sinusitis, Chronic Rhinitis, Deviated Septum, Benign Neoplasm of Connective Soft Tissue, Cutaneous Abscess of Face, Chronic Pansinusitis, Unspecified Malignant Neoplasm. 3. When I emailed the office asking about cancer in my nose his office manager, Cynthia, said it was an error and I do not have cancer. They were going to amend the records, although I never received any corrected documents. 4. I paid $9,500 on October 5th using 3 credit cards. The payment was required before scheduling the surgery. Upon receipt of why account history, the payment(s) were never posted and my account was written off as a "hardship." Cynthia said if I needed the receipts I should contact my credit card companies. I kept asking for the copies and the CFO of the company responded saying someone would have to go find them in storage. However, no one ever did. I have the original receipts. 5. An insurance payment was sent to Dr. Alessi, which was supposed to come to me as I paid in full. Although it was very small, about $127, they wrote off the credit. 6. There are multiple Medi-Cal, and insurance adjustments, even though they were out of network with my insurance. 7. The office billed my insurance for 3 sinus debridements, however, Dr. Alessis chart notes only show that I had one debridement. They bill $1700 per debridement. 8. There is a document with my name and date of birth, but it is for another patient of his. A 37-year-old woman who had surgery for her respiratory system, Lumbosacral Spondylosis, CAD Affecting her ADL. Dr. Alessi signed the paperwork but stated it was from another office he works with. I had only been in for my consultation at that point.
In May of 2019, another doctor cut open my nose and saw no cyst, it was excess cartilage. He removed it in 20 min. and my nose is now nearly bump-free with a tiny scar.
Dr Alessi and his staff were great. They explained everything go me for my first time getting Botox. Yikes. I was nervous but felt comfortable at the end. I am so happy with the outcome. :D
The doctor seemed capable and nice, his staff, absolutely incompetent. I was charged nearly 800 dollars for my 15 minute visit. Two receptionists effusively assured me my insurance covered absolutely everything, then sent me the bill in full. They have been a terror to work with.
I've been seeing Doctor Alessi for several years for a reoccurring ear infection and have always received very good care from both him and his staff. I would be happy to recommend him to anyone I know.

Dr. Alessi is a good doctor he takes his time with you and makes you feel heard. He has a gentle touch and that helps when your having a tube going down your throat! He also has a nonprofit that his wife runs called Face Forward. He s a good man and a good doctor. I highly recommend him and his practice.
Dr Alessi is truly a specialist in his field. I was fortunate enough to be referred to him Buy my surgeon from Cedar Sinai after major neck surgery dealing with my esophagus and trachea in order to implant bone graphs and a titanium plate. He has been able to guide me and treat me and address the problems associated with this kind of surgery I would highly recommend him to anyone who has any problems in regards to ear nose and throat issues. After his first examination of me I knew that I had found the right doctor. I am not sure if I could have gotten through the recovery process without him. All I can say is thank you Dr. David Alessi. I am one of the old patients of Dr. Alessi, I have seen him for many conditions of ENT from simple procedures to surgery and infections, he has been knowledgeable, caring,and wonderful doctor, and his office stuff has been always nice. I would recommend him to my family and friends and they all agree with me.

Dr. Alessi is considerate, meticulous and thorough. His staff is friendly and on the ball. I ve never had a long wait in his office...5 minutes tops, and I feel 100% taken care of. I am grateful I found him and will continue seeing him in the future.
Very professional gave a a great solution to fix my botched cosmetic solutions. I ve been looking for a way to fix it for 2 years. Other doctors offered no help would ve made the problem worse by filling a lumpy area and make it puffier. Dr Alessi looked at my MRI not guessed like the rest and advise to melt and tighten the lumps with Accutite. I m sure he s going to do a great job to smooth out the area so I won t need to do repeated procedures.
Dr Alessi is top notch. He has helped me with nose and throat issues over the years and I enjoy my visits with him. Always pleasant and even a little funny.
Dr. Alessi is phenomenal! I felt so cared for from the moment I entered his office. His staff is wonderful as well. I had functional sinus surgery with Dr Alessi and couldn't be any happier. He has excellent bedside manner, the surgery was quick and as painless as possible (with some discomfort for 2 days as could be expected), but he and his staff had me well prepared, even suggesting homeopathic solutions to help the healing process along which I really love. He was very thorough and did a great job, I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend Dr Alessi to anyone.

So I finally decided to do Botox for the first time, and I couldn't be happier with the results I received from Dr. Alessi. It was completely painless, which I was nervous about, but hes extremely gentle and made me feel so comfortable. His work is amazing! If you are wanting just a little something to feel refreshed and more confident I would defiantly recommend it.

My dentist saw something strange on my tonsil and I ended up at Dr Alessi's via referral. He was so nice, thorough and reassuring. I didn't feel rushed and he answered my questions. The office and staff were lovely and professional. Parking can be tricky in the area. But if you leave a little extra time to walk the free lot on Bedford is a great option or, if that's full, the metered lot on Rexford.
Dr Alessi is the most amazing caring Dr I ve ever gone to. I ve had a Basel cell on my nose and my dermatologist had to use 10 levels of mohs surgery. Dr Alessi has reconstructed my nose and sinuses and you can hardly tell I can breathe again

27 yr old female. I went for a consultation and then Co2 laser procedure the following week after.. Both times I'm in awe in how beautiful the office is, the staff is lovely and with helpful energy but most importantly the Doctor, Dr Alessi is so kind, patient and delicate with his work. I felt as ease with how caring he is with patients. Each patient gets dedicated time and his work is beyond perfection.. My skin is healing so even already and I'm only 2 hrs post treatment. That is a testiment to his technique n high quality instruments. I had moderate acne, acne scars large pores n texture, I can already tell I'm healing properly. Unlike other doctors who's patients have scary post procedure pics of ooze n blotchy uneven skin. I will do another review after my followup appointment in one month and hopefully post before n after pictures. So seriously happy already, I can forsee good skin in my near future.
100% satisfaction on my first trip to Dr David Alessi. The staff are all friendly and immaculately groomed, (made me want to be fabulous) and it was a very relaxed vibe, no rushing you in and out. Dr Alessi takes the time to do the consultation himself as opposed to having an assistant do it. Great results from a skilled Doctor, who also manages to spend the other half of his life working with his wife's charity Face Forward! How great is that!
I am beyond grateful to the Dr. who referred me to Dr. Alessi. I cant thank my lucky stars to have met him. He removed my tonsil which I was terrified of doing and for no reason at all really. First of all, he has a very updated facility. Secondly, you dont feel the operation and you have the best sleep while under, and lastly I have had a sore throat much worse than the after affects of the suregery. So this is nothing.
I felt taken care of in the best manner. I am still healing, on day 5, and it has not been a bother at all. They offer cortisone shots that help with swelling in addition to the meds.
If you are going to get a tonsil removed why not go to a plastic surgeon???

I broke my nose (turns out in eight places-quite a mess). I am a physician and knew who has the best reputation, so I called Dr. Alessi. I am extremely happy with the result, the service and the staff. He also tells the best jokes of any doctor that I have met. He makes you feel like family. He has my highest respect and recommendation.
Dr. Alessi is extremely knowledgeable. It's easy to tell that he knows what he's talking about, and what he's doing. His equipment is top-notch and the best out there for whatever your needs. (Which can't be said about other places) I get a high buildup of earwax a lot, and Dr. Alessi has helped fix my problems numerous times. I highly recommend him. He's in a really nice office, too. Which is also a plus.

It is no secret that as a physician and surgeon Dr Alessi's skill is extraordinary. But it doesn't end there. His immense propensity toward compassion and caring is also evident in his daily routine. What is truly unusual is his depth of understanding, genuine sensitivity and empathy towards his patients and toward people in general of their overall well being, (their whole self) not just their physical health. I have seen Dr Alessi as a patient for many years and my family does as well. I can honestly say that after knowing him so long, this is the true person you see, and not someone who may change as circumstances change. Dr. Alessi is one of the most compassionate, caring and informed person I have met in this world of doctors and practices. I was very concerned with my breathing problem. Dr. Alessi was able to explain to me exactly what needed to be done. The procedure was much easier than I had thought. I am very pleased to say Dr. Alessi is a fine surgeon.

I had Botox and a little filler for the first time and I am SO thrilled! No bruising, no bleeding just quick, confident and efficient. I was then given ice packs to keep and told I could relax until I felt ready to leave. (I have experienced another Doctor s practice who couldn t wait to get rid of the patients.) The Alessi Institute are welcoming and sweet for the moment you walk in until you leave. A very happy staff for sure.
