This place is nowhere near worth the price you pay for. Mum paid $37 for one piece of fish that was average and my lasagne tasted like a woolies frozen lasagne. Truly don't understand the hype about this place. Also all the staff are weirdly attractive and fit what up with that.

Although we couldn't book for Sunday lunch they were very accommodating with our party of 11. The service was very good with all meals coming out together. Everyone enjoyed their meals and they catered for the kids easily.

Meals were good large serving & lovely
Service was friendly
Great atmosphere
3 different venues to choose from to eat
Has poker machines & 4 pool tables which can be hard to get a turn at as there is no time limit of playing on them, you just wait your turn. Really think that anyone waiting should put their $2 on the table (ledge where money slot is) to say their next up! Other than that, awsome venue & had a great time there!!

Had beers and a Parma. Parma overpriced, $30. Only slightly bigger than a hockey puck and uninspired at best. Bland sauce, over cooked schnitzel. Fries were soggy. Boring salad
The one positive was the service.
Avoid.

Attended a wedding here and was blown away with the venue. Lovely views of the creek and plenty of space both in the wedding venue room (Nepean) and the main dining room. It was a winter wedding and the fire was perfect and food was really good. We had a vegan menu and I was super impressed with the quality of the food.

Food is nice enough but a bit overpriced for a glorified pub. The staff walk around in shorts which I'm assuming is to try and link the venue to boating/sailing but looks average. The bistro is in need of a makeover as the furniture and design is very dated. The staff are average given the number of them that were around. As you walk into the bistro there was a lady sitting on a computer at what would appear to be the host/hostess station, however she did not even acknowledge us or any other customers that came her way. Overall this place seems to do very well but I think this is more due to its location rather than food, service or atmosphere.

TLDR: meh, overpriced and dated looking venue.

Service was kind of slow. The waiter accidentally dropped part of my husband's meal but no one actually cleaned it up until we'd all finished and we're leaving. Food and drinks were good and location is very pretty.

the lady at the front desk was rude. we booked in a week in advanced and they didnt tell us anything until we got there and told us that we werent allowed in because majority of us were under 18. even though we had 2 responsible adults who were over 18, they didnt let us in and left us stranded on the scary streets or Mordiallic. The lady also informed us that we needed a legal guardian for every single person who was under age which didnt make sense as what if an adult comes in with 3 kids? Does that mean they would need a guardian for every child? It honestly didnt make sense. When we left, we saw a sign that said the people under the age of 18 were not allowed in, UNLESS you were coming for a meal (which we were) and UNLESS you have a responsible adult (which we had 2 of). They lady was just straight up rude and made no sense whatsoever. Not to mention that it was also a birthday dinner for myself.

With reference to the Bistro here: first thing that comes to mind unfortunately is the price, not how nice the food is. And it is! But for how much the meals are, it really isn't as good as it should be. My wife described it as extremely nice pub bistro meals, but at a fine dining price.

I don't think I'd come again, there is plenty better value elsewhere that is as good, if not better.

Great venue. Excellent food, views, atmosphere and service.
Cass & Chris are two of the most polite, kind and funny bar tenders I've come across - you must try their signature cocktails ! Both an asset to the company :)

Went to Doyle's on a warm summer night. Had seat by the window looking out over the boats. Atmosphere was great, staff were prompt and friendly. Only Boags on tap and food was expensive but delicious. Overall great night.

We went here for dinner after not being there for over 20yrs when it was great. I was really looking forward to eating here once again after moving back to the area. Wow, was I disappointed. Both our meals were just awful and the chicken had water in it! So I'm guessing it was cooked from frozen. We complained and were given a $50 voucher to spend anywhere at Doyle's. We don't drink or gamble and I'm never eating there again so there the voucher sits. We are hoping it is usable in the bottle shop so we can buy Xmas presents with it!

EDIT ... went to get our voucher to spend at the cafe and they've lost it. I overheard one worker say to another..'how do we know she's telling the truth '...
