The slots don't hit as much as other casinos. The employee's are rude and the crowed that goes there are not my kind of people

Poor atmosphere and no hits on the machines even though i was there for hours. No fun

I had the best time! It was my birthday & my son & daughter-in-law took me to the races and then to go eat. We won a total of $3.80, but had a very fun time - and we didn't need drugs or alcohol to do it. Great customer service, too.

The food was delicious! The restaurant employees were great

Staff was friendly, but the snacks at one of the concession stands... inconsistent. Last time the fresh hot popcorn was neither fresh nor hot, and the week before that the chips in the nachos were stale. Nothing worse than stale chips... well maybe that s not exactly true. Having your winning horse be declared not the winner after coming in first on a $5 bet is worse... and lots of other things. Just would be a good idea if someone tasted the foods that are stored or looked at the expiration date on the foods people are eating or giving to their kids. To be fair, the snacks are good on occasion... though my money is good 100% of the time, and I think the food should be as well.

That was an okay place, play slots and the floss what kind of interesting, the table games done with electronic dealers I thought that was interesting. I thought it was cool that you can get involved in another game while playing the game, sometimes she will get a pop up a slot machine after playing a certain amount of time and you get an opportunity to win FreePlay. it was kind of a neat concept I haven't run into that before

I go to the downs to the nightclub I have not had any problems in this place. People are usually nice bartenders are great waitress are great and I love the music this music is a mix of Spanish English country a little bit of everything I really really enjoy one of my groups is Black Pearl I love the way they sing I just started going this year and I have enjoyed every moment entrance is always free

The Downs Casino is now my favorite casino that I visit. I go on Fridays because that s when seniors over fifty get a free spin for slot play. The least you can get is $5.00 but can get up to $25.00. If I m not mistaken they have changed More

We love the race track & the service we get. The serves at the casino lounge is NOT so great. We've had 2 separate incidents w/ the male African American bartender. The first time he pretended to toss out a cup of water that a customer had left on the counter top when she left & then he tried to serve it to us later when we asked for water. I told him I didn't want that water because I had been watching him. The second time, we had been there for 1 hour, we were sitting at a table across from the bar, we hadn't seen our waitress for a while so we went to the bar to order another beer & the same bartender told us he would serve us one beer & then he was cutting us off. We asked him why & that we'd only had one in an hour. He said he because the state was there & they were watching them. That may have been true but I think it was more of revenge from the first incident.

Not a bad experience for my first time at the track.

Great place to go if you are trying to get rid of your money quick it

This is a descent sized smaller casino. It s nice because you dont have to Lori e twenty minutes beyond the outskirts of the city to play! It s not too far from anyplace in the city really. Free fountain drinks, full service bar. Good side snack bar serving hot food as well as cold food and ice cream too. Be sure to sign up at the players club for free play and also to get food discounts. Lots of security watch over you while you play. Lots of parking available with about twenty handicap places. A good casino to have fun in. I personally have fairly good luck here. As with any casino,..... play responsibly. Have fun! :0)

Casino is open later than anything else in town...4 am on wknds! Cigarette smoking allowed INdoors . Free soda, water, and/or coffee. The games are basically all slot machines, some card and roulette..but, for the most part, all automated. There's a cafe/cafeteria that has alot of made-to-order food options, and a suprisingly extensive baked goods (cakes, cookies, pies, pastries) section. A place where gambling costs patrons a minimum of 1 penny per bet and tops off at approx $20 a bet. So, can b a nice, inexpensive night out in Albuquerque, provided you know "when to say when". [My secret: is that i don't bring in more money than i can lose.]

Use to be way better. I like it but I never win... not enough class or winning machines... boo

If you like Karaoke, Tuesday and Wednesday are your day's, horse racing's, Casino and great food.

No tables or hotel is the only bad thing, but its chill and nice with everything else a casino can offer.

It was a new idea and thing,for our town to have right in the city,and easy to get to and enjoy relaxation a after each bus ride.

Came out +$60 and killed 2 hours without the long drive to get to Sandia or Isleta...

Had a good 1st time experience there won 178 but they ladies serving drinks sucked they didnt offer me anything to drink

Their buns are always really soft, love their burgers.

The atmosphere is very security tight, likely since it is the only casino in the area accessible by local bus lines. Therefore the folks that frequent the casino tend to be a little seedy. The racetrack is very different. The usual crowd there tends toward well-dressed, polite Mexican and Spanish crowds. And the horses themselves, awesome to watch.

It's very nice and a good place to go to when you live in the heights

Has a large bar area, but drinks are expensive. Gambling area is okay to many homeless people asking for money or cigarettes. Staff is great. Good is great. Just the people who come asking for something or selling something is the problem. ..

Stinks inside and homeless are everywhere asking for money the machines are not that good ok i guess i have never win.

This is the most convenient casino by location. It was giving me the downs but now it's giving me the ups!! Not a big place but a happy face! We love the downs and will always continue to go there.

Love going to this casino I win here more then any other casino. The only thing I don't like is they close too early!

A convenient place to gamble although during really hot days the AC has trouble keeping the facility coil

The bar was crowded and had live music. The casino was full and a little generous to me as well. The staff was very professional and courteous. Big improvement since my last visit over a year and. Recommended.
