Nice hotel. The rooms are not fancy but it was clean when we got there. Check in was quick. There is no valet parking because of covid. And they do not clean rooms because of covid. But you can get clean towels and sheets by calling housekeeping. Other than covid concerns, all employees were so polite. The restaurant's were really good. This is a good place to stay.
Very nice but partially closed. My husband and I stayed here for the entire week of our birthday (we share a birthday) and the people were very welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean and had a terrific view of the race track. Due to covid no one was able to clean our room but, I was able to get supplies from the cleaning staff in the hallway each morning. Unfortunately, some of the restaurants we wanted to visit were closed. We were able to enjoy the Sugar Factory and had a blast at the casino (we never gambled before). We ate at two other places inside and got a massage at the Toppers spa. Everything was great despite the lack of options you usually would have. I am hopeful that staffing will allow it to fully open so that we can have the full experience in the future. I will visit in the future.
Calm with good crowd. Different machines...1c...25c...$1...etc...with ok payout. Free beverages and ok restrooms. Mask not compulsory.
We have to be a leftover it's my place to go I just wish they would bring back them fun in the party games are there a carnival games what you want to call them those side then so I shouldn't be $15 Annie it cost too much to play for the average gambler hey make your money on the blackjack in the other games and give us a. Chance to have a little fun at the tables
We went to the 55 Plus Expo there. We enjoyed it and will be back next year. We wish they would not put out candy. We are diabetic and i am sure the majority of the attendees were also, as seniors. We have a weakness for the goodies and took them. Now my blood sugar is higher than we would like. Maybe sugar free candy as an alternative.
So my sister passed away and all I wanted to do was get my mind off of things and go have a little fun at Dover Downs we get to the candy shop I think that's what it's called the place with the gourmet food and the fancy drinks; and we sat at the bar waiting for someone to serve us well they must have passed us five times and decided to serve every single body who stood at the other end of the bar. They never said we'll be with you in a minute here's the menu nothing, so I got up and left after sitting there for over 15 minutes. It's really disappointing cuz I really wanted one of those dry ice drinks they're so amazing but they just didn't seem to care today about being serviceable. So much for drinking one for my sister.
Great experience! The cleaners walking around helps you to feel safer as you play, especially since I came with my 83 year old grandmother. Great atmosphere altogether. We will be back!
*only complaint would be they only have 1 drink girl on the floor at a time so even getting coffee is impossible, had to go brew my own in my room and brought it back to the machines w me. There is also only 2 restaurants open as the rest are still closed. I understand why, it would have just been nice having other food options.

Need to learn to treat your regular customers better. I used to love to come here. Yet lately you've been treating me as if I wasn't even playing at your establishment. A friend of mine received $75. for her birthday and money for the month to play for free..... I received $0. for both. I mean if this is how you treat your regulars, I can see your company going bankrupt!!! I'm a 3 digit number on my card, how long you think I've been coming to your casino? Visited sugar factory. Would not seat us (2) on a Thursday. Claim we needed reservations even though the restaurant was pretty empty. The other couple we were meeting came. They sat us!!! I think they only want large parties. A 2 person party is not big enough. Will never go back.
