Well I work for them and it is the very best company I've ever worked for and I've been driving truck for 40 years so I have a little bit of experience with other companies

Only real issue i have is the truck I'm in keeps having problems. Everything else from the office personnel to the pay to the miles is top notch. These guys took me in after I came from a different company and they really care about their drivers/driver's family. Good quality company that has obviously done something right to still be in business after almost 100 years.
A little bit of something for everyone; reefer/dry van, grain hauler, flat bed. If you are looking for a family friendly, high quality, and fair company to drive for, Doug Andrus is definitely a top pick

Called on a load from ID to KY. The place where it was delivering to is Kroger, and they are notorious for holding trucks for days, so i asked the broker, do you pay detention in case they will hold the truck? NO, I DON'T WANT TO START OFF THIS WAY, and hung up. Tells me already what broker they are and how they take care of carriers. They will squeeze everything out of you, but when its time to compensate, lets hang up the phone. DO NOT USE!

Drivers are very aggressive and reckless. Driving 55+ in a 45 zone while tailgating about 3 feet from the car in front of them. There is no way they could stop safely in an accident that close.

This is a wonderfully professional, responsive, and ethical freight transportation company. They treat their drivers as valued people rather than just assets, which is indicative of how they treat their customers as well. I highly recommend Doug Andrus for your freight transportation needs.

I was very impressed with this company. They've been in business over 80 years and there staff was excellent.
