Double D's Sourdough Pizza Review

Yummmmmm!!! Ordered through Doordash and first time trying this place. My husband is obsessed with trying new pizza and we were not disappointed. It was hot and DELICIOUS. I'm shocked it has 3.8 stars! Higher ratings on Doordash which is good or we wouldn't have tried it. Seems like a lot of people are just upset at the staff. We didn't go in, so I'm rating just the food itself and it was amazing! Truly. We haven't had this good of pizza in so long. We got a small pizza, a calzone and the cinnabombs (omg). We will definitely order again. Anyone saying it's overpriced must be used to dominos and poor quality ingredients because you can tell this was made with fresh, unique ingredients. Cheers!

Definitely great pizza, but we ordered a pizzas recently and one was missing a topping. That's no biggie stuff happens, but when we called about it, we were accused of lying by some sassy, mean woman. She had said she personally put the sausage on our pizza (there were two suppose to have sausage and only one of them did). So we had to take the pizza back up there to show it to them and get one with the sausage on it. It wasn't about getting the pizza wrong, it was how their employee so rudely handled it.

The waiter needs training! Servicing the customer with manors, learning how to wash his hands and stop touching customer glasses, water bottles, his hair and CC's... Other than that it was $40 pizza for lunch. First, last and only time to dine there.

I've only ordered delivery so far, but I am so so happy to have amazing vegan pizza! Like, seriously amazing. Looking forward to coming to the restaurant.

Got the double D pepperoni - I really could taste the higher quality of ingredients. It is a bit expensive but high quality is worth paying for. We just moved to the area from SoCal and this is probably on par with any pizza that we had in Orange County.
Looking forward to trying some of their other offerings.

Tried to order over the web and it said "error in ordering" so I called and they couldn't explain why their site wouldn't let people order. They took order over the phone, but instead of charging $17.00 web price, they charged $22.25 even though they said they would honor the website price. When I picked it up, they decided to charge their price on their register, of $22.25. I showed him the screenshot and basically he said too bad... Needless to say, I didn't tip and told him to ask his manager for the tip. Pizza is a bit small for the price too.

Cooked perfectly and great flavor. Cheese was a bit on the heavy side but still a solid medium crust pie. A thin crust sourdough pizza would be epic.

Great pizza and friendly staff! They went above and beyond for us. Loaded Baked Potato pizza was awesome.
