Care beyond what was expected in an ER. I spent less than 2 hours from start to finish. Dr.Wilson delivered my information in an excellent manner. Every staff member I met was professional and personable.

I had a total reverse shoulder replacement done in Feb. 1st 2021 at Dosher Memorial Hospital. The staff was great. Everyone had positive energy and attitudes. I was worried about having this done during our current situation dealing with Covid-19 but they made me feel safe.Everyone wore proper PPE. They treated me like family and the food was amazing. I want to say Thank You to each and every one of you that I had the pleasure of meeting and the ones that I didn't that had a hand in making this possible. I received cards from the staff with signatures that made it them very special to me. Also to the kitchen and cleaning staff, y'all rock Thank You All
One of the best experiences I have ever had when it comes to a hospital. I had Mako knee replacement. First the education you get Prior to the Surgery was great each team that was going to be hands on in my care spoke and let you know what to expect, when I arrived at 645am was greeted by the front desk to Welcome you to Dosher next the nurse that got me ready for Surgery was very positive and made me feel very Comfortable. WHILE HAVING surgery they reached out to my husband several times before I got to my room. Once to my room got me comfortable and I had lunch within 45 min. Mary my nurse and Doug CNA was great. Pt very good I got to go home same day. If I have to get another knee it will be here .Dr Lescault was my surgeon
This hospital really has it all together. The staff there are terrific. They were so informative. They kept me in the know thru my husbands whole surgery. This included a call from the operating room to let me know all was going well.
I typically do not write reviews, but was compelled to do so. On August 10th, 2021 I had a total right hip replacement at Dosher Memorial. From the moment I walked in the front door to the time I was released, ever individual I came into contact with was exceptional and had the highest level of professionalism and compassion. This team is top notch and they have taken customer care to the next level. WELL DONE!!
I just moved here 1 month ago so not familiar with medical services. Innocently drove to Dosher ED because it was the closest we knew. Let me 1st say the people RN staff etc. Were very nice and skilled. Had a major ankle injury. Dislocated and broken in 2 places. Pain was excruciating. I think the worst ever felt. There was no Dr. there. 1 hr later he came in said he just got there 10 min ago. Shift change!! What no ER doc there because of shift change???? Still in pain nothing done. Xrays wait, calling surgeon then tell me I'll have to call the Dr. next day but I needed surgery. I'm still not sure what surgery is for. Finally 2 1/2hrs. later discharge given pain meds for 1 day and goodbye. Pain meds made me ill, I called the following day for different Rx to get me through weekend. Called ER, THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME A DIFFERENT MEDICATION. EVEN IF I BROUGHT BACK THE ONES THEY 1ST GAVE ME. I remained in severe pain, sick thru weekend. I probably wouldn't go to ER there again. Good for routine things like labs and Radiology.
I went into this hospital on the evening of 6/23 & was having a heart attack. I ve never been treated so well. Everyone there beginning with the receptionist was caring & considerate in everything they did for me. I wound up having to be helicopter transported to Wilmington for a heart cath. where this wonderful service continued. I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone.
I feel the service provided by the billing/pricing department has been unethical. I was informed my insurance would not cover a lung CT scan so I inquired about the cost with no insurance coverage. I was given a reasonable price and agreed to make an appointment. My experience with the technicians was wonderful. I received a bill in the mail for over 100% more than the price I was given. I called and was told the price I was given was an estimate. I was not originally informed the price was an estimate and I certainly wasn't informed the cost could be 100% more. I'm healthy with no family history of any cancer and the results were fine. I'm getting no response on what would have made the "estimate" double. My heart tells me there is an unethical billing practice at Dosher Hospital. Please beware.
went there for a wound on my leg and all the nurses , pa's and doctors were great, I would recommend this center to everyone. No matter what they always had a smile and were great. thank you
Couldn't get a 3 year old and his mother tested for covid. Even with a positive father in the house. Child has runny nose congestion and cough. My facility made me wear an N95 just to take them. Sad!!
