The most amazing place i would have ever learned how to dance

Dorthy Keck's is an amazing studio! When the Pandemic started they were amazing at transitioning quickly to bring dance at home for the everyone. When the studio open they went above and beyond to ensure everyone safety. Stephanie (owner) is an amazing, kind, person that was brave enough to show her vulnerability during tough times and for that I admire her and have much respect for her. If you want a studio who cares about everyone safety and is affordable in pricing this is the place to be. This is my daughter's 2nd year at this studio and she has been a dancer for over 7yrs, sh has made such great improvements being here in one year than in all her years of dance. Thank you Dorthy Keck's for doing such an amazing job at teaching.

I just got my first pointe shoes!! They were great with helping me find the ones. Very nice workers always with a smile and open for questions!!!

Ms. Sam and Ms. Laura do a fantastic job with the kids!

A great place! The use of fun music and props for the younger children really helped make the experience of learning to dance fun and enjoyable for my daughter. My daughter was enrolled for two years with Ms. Sam(such a nice lady, very patient with the little girls), we would have loved to continue with Dorothy Keck if not for our move out of the state. Very friendly staff, fair prices, and fun little camps in the summer and cute extra activities at Christmas. My daughter still misses her old dance school!

My daughter just started her second year here and I absolutely love the student teacher ratio. They always make sure to have enough so each kid gets the proper amount of attention. She is learning so much. We will be coming here as long as she loves dancing

Zero stars for this studio and owner Stephanie- too bad thats not an option and I was forced to give at least one star. After at least 6 years of sending my girls here we have taken our business elsewhere just like other families we know. It's all about the money for Stephanie- she could care less about my daughter or her safety, and had no problem telling me that to my face. Stephanie's bad attitude and the constant scowl on her face makes for an unhappy dance experience every week. They spend the entire year teaching a recital dance and what seems like nothing else, and to top it off the recital is awful every year. It's a mix between cheezy, disorganized, and nearly senior women jumping around to tap dance routines in really bad outfits. I DO NOT recommend Dorothy Keck if your daughter is serious about learning how to dance or if you care about the safety of your daughter while in Stephanie's care.

Worst dance school experience by far! This school is loaded with pride and ego! When the staff begins shouting at your child and you intervene on your child's behalf be ready for your scolding next! No professionalism to be found between the owner Stephanie or instructor Miss Sam!

My daughter was practically dropped from this dance studio because the owner would much rather side with her unprofessional staff member than to properly discipline their unprofessional behavior towards parents. The owner went so far as to make wild accusations of me cursing at her instructor when I barely got a word out of my mouth. In the end I was refunded my daughter's recital fee and costume fee when an apology from both the owner and instructor would have sufficed.

The owners final remark to me was, 'I'm not interested.' When I inquired about what she was talking about she said, 'Your money!'

In closing, if you want to see your child's well being be manipulated by bullying, abusive power tripping, egocentric, no compassion having, pride over all instructors and owner then this would be the place to sign your child up.

They have been fantastic with my son for the last four years and counting. He absolutely adores the teachers and everyone else who works there. He looks forward to the many days a week that we spend there, which in turn, makes me happy that he has a place that he loves so much!
