Hotel wonderful staff very pleasant we had an unforgettable stay

To hope to have sunbeds you have to get up really very early. (7h)
The wifi does not work.
Buses do not pass at the indicated times.
I took the formula all inclusive Club Marmara however the cocktails are paid from 23h .. so go to the bar opposite!
Good animation team, staff (kitchen, waiters) friendly.

Only go if you're French run for them only. All menus written in French and entertainment is only French.

Nice hotel friendly staff. Buffet very good with Greek specialties. Only flat air conditioning that work poorly and bed mattress too hard.

Only happiness. Kindness of animators and staff. Rhodes island superb.

Very bad hotel, very bad service, no internet, no hot water in the shower, all inclusive is not really all inclusive, need to pay in the evening, very very disappointed! And i pay very high price! There are much better hotels in Rhodes at the same price and even cheaper.

Perfect trip to a beautiful place. The room for 4 (2 adults and 2 children) was large and clean. The restoration was of quality with local products and others a little more internationals. The proposed animation was complete with a real respect of intimacy if you wish to rest. In short, a trip bathed in sun, beach and scenery.
PS to the travelers: be respectful and do not spoil the food.
PS at the hotel: try to find an alternative to plastic cups and straws.

Too bad this hotel is next to Rhodes airport.
No respite when you're on the beach, it's a permanent parade of planes landing and taking off. They are careful not to mention it on the brochure.
It spoils the holidays a little.
On the other hand, the good points are the quality, the choice and the daily variety of meals ... everything is delicious ... !!!

Very dynamic club hotel. The restaurant and reception staff, the women on duty as well as the animators are all very friendly, helpful and attentive.
The rooms are lovely. Our mattress did not suit us so they added a mat. They are very responsive to different problems. I recommend this hotel.

We came with my mother 3 years ago and we have good memories overall ...

I went there in 2016 when the hotel had just changed owners. The comments I was reading worried me a bit but a lot of effort had to be made after the change of management and I really liked this hotel. The setting was beautiful, the hotel was clean and the entertainment was great. The food looked the same every day but was pretty good and the air conditioning was not very efficient. But I guess these points have had to be improved over time. The tours were easily accessible. Good memories

Impeccable hygiene, helpful staff, great entertainment throughout the day! The only downside is the extremely hard mattress in the bedroom.
The swimming pool is great, with a slide to break records for sliding on the buoy!
As for food, it's an all-you-can-eat buffet with something to satisfy everyone.
I highly recommend the Doreta Beach hotel, with a special mention for the brilliant animation team and all the discreet staff who ensure our comfort!

A very good hotel. Staff attentive. Quality service. Good dishes to taste. A team of animation of ouf . An unforgettable stay. It is true that you need to bring shoes for swimming in the sea. Airport 7km away. Factory with chimneys visible from the beach not top.

A week of real holidays. The animators are hyper available. Very comfortable rooms, towels changed daily. An important choice for meals with regular new dishes. The animation is permanent and the animators motivate you and, while I am not sporty and I tend to remain passive, I participated in activities and games such as waterp polo, petanque, .... I recommend this club, certainly the best where I could go.

The animation team is top !!! The excursion for Symi is nice but lack of free time on the spot more interesting to go there on your own, the reception according to the people against say

Rested in May 2012.
What was bad. At first they settled in the basement floor with mice and insects. Then they moved to the 2nd floor without a balcony on the sunny side.
The bartenders are a little impudent, but it is fixable)))
The room and furniture is normal.

Beach is a large pebble-need shoes.
Russian-speaking was not enough- IT IS VERY GOOD !!!
Walk around the hotel or, if outside, there is a fire along the only road where there is a time for taverns, a few shops and empty villas.
We went to the village of Theologos - interesting.

I do not recommend! The hotel has 4-5 stars and in fact it deserves 2 stars. The rooms have dirt, the bathroom lack of ventilation and fungus. Stinking pools. Hotel food distasteful, drinks and tragic drinks. The hotel manager ignores complaints and walks away halfway through the conversation without saying a word. It was supposed to be a deluxe room, and we got a dingy bungalow to which the restroom adjoins! Never again!

Broken room, broken shower, sea view room is a joke. Broken AC. Good formfamilies with kids but be aware of low standards. Look at pics. If you can book somewhere else !

Very good 100% French-speaking club hotel.

We stayed there in July 2018. The hotel is very well maintained. the Greek staff are extremely nice and speak French very well. The abundant food is very good.

Animation is also great if that's what you're looking for. (you will not be attacked by the animators;))

The swimming pool is really very large close to the beach (be careful, deckchairs are rare as often ...).

Our room with sea view (230) was very quiet and the decor is modern.

Let's talk about blackheads:

The first most annoying, the presence of planes every 10 minutes during rush hour. When I say airplane I don't just mean that we see them high in the sky, as the hotel is 15 minutes from the airport, we see the planes really very low and the take-off corridor is just above the swimming pool . On the other hand, the planes that land don't bother us ...

Another negative point, but without importance, is that there is no sand at the seaside. Bring water shoes because it is really unpleasant even in the sea. (For sandy beaches you have to go to the western part of the island, around 40 minutes by car).

It must nevertheless be said that the hotel's location is also a positive point, because it is close to everything.

It takes 40 minutes by bus or car to get to Rhodes. 1h00 to get to Lindos and 2h00 to get to the southern tip.

There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel (one bus every hour around) and a car rental service in the hotel.

You can rent a car nearby (there is a profusion of rental companies) but the advantage of that of the hotel and that you will not need to pay a deposit;) the prices are the same everywhere (around 40 euros for a VW UP, decreasing rates if you rent several days).

The traffic on the island is really simple, there are signs in English, which tell you all the beaches, visits, towns ... impossible to get lost;)

Pleasant and pleasant place.

Spacious establishment, with a large bar room, a large dining room with hot and cold buffets, opening onto a large shaded terrace. Diversified meals, local specialties and high standards for young and old. Varied drinks too.

Nice swimming pools (one with slide), and direct access to the sea, plus deckchairs on the beach. There is, Snack and Bar near the swimming pool. Song of the cicadas and Top entertainment! With "break" for the sacred afternoon nap.
A light wind allows you to appreciate the sun and the heat of August.
Point of improvement: the non appropriation of the deckchairs (to be released after 1 hour of absence) rule not applied in practice ... Consequence: Arrive early to reserve your deckchair at the swimming pool ...

Shops and well-being activities, plus French-speaking guides for organized visits,
are pleasant and available.

Overall it is a vacation spot to recommend!

Lack of renovation no shower product. Small room for couple and two children I would not remember the address .....

Worst service, staff bad attitude, food average, free drinks very poor quality, management with no experience and bad customer service, overcharged my bill which we used hotel telephone when told by reception staff that would be 1 euro p/minute calls to UK standard number, and were billed for 109 euros for 35 minutes call, 95% aggressive Russian guests, overall worst Holiday experience I have had.Seaside is very windy, lots of stones and not good enough to swim, so had to only use the swimming pool, which this hotel had over 1200 guests at same time, 10 minutes queues to get your food in a very big restaurant with 95% angry Russians waiting to be fed. ANIMATION TEAM WAS AMAZING thats all.

Room Tip: book another HOTEL this is my advice

Everything was perfect, pleasant welcome, beautiful atmosphere. the cluc neither too big nor too small we think we are at home. Top entertainment. I invite you to go, you will not be disappointed.

The food is varied and the staff very helpful and friendly. Regarding the room, ours overlooked an inner courtyard and corridor passing, opposite another room. Uncomfortable bedding. A 15 mm massage offered in our package. Perfect spa team. A meal in a restaurant to book upon arrival. The hotel is 7 km from the airport, noise is there. The hotel feet in the water top. Plan shoes because pebble beach.

Just came back from a week at the Hotel (Aug 2015) Good Clean Hotel. Staff very friendly. Good variety of food. Alcoholic drinks not great. Would have given it a 4 star rating if they had Air Conditioning in all the public areas not just the bedrooms. Crazy not to have AC in the Reception area. Also no AC in the dining area, Lobby, Inside Bar which was always deserted as it was too hot to sit there. Also no AC in dining area!

Pleasant situation, I would come back when the air conditioning of the restaurant and rooms will work better, too hot to eat in the restaurant not very nice overall the food is good, the breakfast rich but the butter melts in the tray no ice cubes , the deli is not on a chilled plate would be better for the cold chain, lack of sunbathing pools must get up at 1am to book a place among other things the entertainment team is at the top really great! ! the staff do their best, my rating from 1 to 10 for the hotel is 5 and the animation 10 ++++++

What a pity!
We left mid September for a week at the Marmara Doreta Beach Club with Tui.
So certainly the stay was not expensive, but here are the conclusions of the trip.
Negative: The room was very big for both of us (5 beds, 42sqm), but so outdated. The double bed was composed of two sommiers a place unequal height, covered with a mattress two places very uncomfortable. The air conditioning was a big noise, not to mention the fact that it has probably never been cleaned (black and greasy blades ...) The household was very rudimentary, the joints were cracked everywhere, the walls full of holes .. .. PITY!
The 4 stars would not be worth two in France as far as the rooms are concerned.
Also know that the club is located on the axis of the runway of the airport, a plane every 5 minutes that passes over our heads in rush hour (inconvenient for some)

Positive points: the setting, the choice between the sea and the pool, exteriors for the well maintained blow, the animation team was well taf, the buffets well stocked and varied. Varied excursions for those interested

This is a great hotel the staff are very friendly the only black spot you have to get up before 6 am to get a place on the poolside loungers the hotel guests put their towels to book them for the dawn damage for those who make the fat mast fortunately we have the beach left. But it's a good holiday all the same.

Well let's be objective. 3000 euros 4 people all inclusive 1 week. The Greek staff are very friendly and attentive. The facilitators are efficient and motivated. (See a little too sticky ). The rooms are ok but nothing more. Italian bathroom so water everywhere at each shower (I was in the duplex suite by the beach.) Mattress hs. The pool top but the beach very average, you need sneakers to swim otherwise you will ruin your feet and the factory and smoke next to it so a not so terrible smell.
Very correct food but it's still self and it's always the same thing but salad level it was quite successful.
You absolutely have to rent a car because nothing on site, but in the hotel there is a very efficient and cheap rental service, no deposit, unlimited km. I rented a 3 day fiat panda for 95 euros. Watch out for Greek driving, it's the wild west. It's the first to pass, white line they don't know, no checks. In short, we believe in gta.
In short, a good stay for a week but it is not the big luxury either and in 7 days you have been around.
Here I tried to be as honest as possible.

Details can be improved but overall you have, by choosing the Doreta Beach, an excellent value for money. And an animation team at the top.
