Door Creek Golf Course Review

Driving range: very affordable, well away from the course itself, not necessarily spacious enough for more than a dozen or so people to be hitting at once from the turf given how much grass had already been hit away from the designated swinging area but get there when it's not busy and you'll have a good experience.

Targets are a bit upslope so it's hard to see where your ball lands but NBD. The covered awning behind the turf is nice for rainy or very hot days. Hope to play the course soon.

I love this course. Greatest public course around Madison. The driving range is cheap, they have both a chipping green and a putting green to work that short game. It has a nice setup and the staff are always friendly. This is my go to Madison area course, cant beat the price for this nice of a course.

Course is in great shape! Greens roll great, and beer cart comes around regularly! Awesome staff from the front desk to the bar! Can't wait to golf there again!

This is a really solid course for the money. Still affordable, and good golf. Staff is great.

course was ok sand traps are in poor condition for september most of them are puddles. tee times are poorly managed they stack everyone right on top of eachother and they will stick you with other groups and not let you know about it until the other two guys are halfway down the fairway. wasnt particularly impressed with that

I think Door Creek is the best course for the price in the Madison area. The staff is always attentive and the course itself is always in great shape.

Anytime you can golf in Wisconsin in November..it's a good day!

Outside course is great but in the winter months don t forget about the simulators. They re realistic and fun to play. There are tons of courses to choose from and the service is excellent.

We just golfed Wednesday night and the course is in great shape! The staff has always been very friendly. I would recommend the course....plus the beverage cart does a great job getting around for bevy's!!

Great course options with a full 18 and 9 hole executive course. It gets busy though, esp this year with covid forcing people outside.

THE BEST GOLF COURSE IN MADISON I have to drive a little bit to get there but well worth the drive
staff is so helpful and knowledgeable.

Staff is very personable and friendly. the indoor simulator was fun and challenging.

A couple of issues with my round here. First hole (and others) had pits of sand in the middle of the fairway, where are we supposed to hit it with patches of sand right in front of the green/on the fairway? Was among 5 groups playing on top of one another, we got to watch each other tee off every at least... overall disappointed with the round and quality of course.

Excellent golf course lots of challenges and top notch staff and ladies to serve drinks on the course.

What a fun course 20 minutes from downtown Madison. I played last weekend for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with the solid condition and green speed. Great patio off the Clubhouse and friendly staff - will definitely be going back soon. Thanks for the hospitality!

Great course, have always had a good time here. Always clean. Good par 3 to learn on.

Indoor golf was a great time. Putting is a challenge but otherwise experience there. Reserve a tee time!

The worst tee time set ups I've ever seen. We had 2 groups on every tee box waiting. Even after calling club house nothing was done and one of the longest round I've ever played. They could not pay me to come back to this course.

Extremely friendly staff, and the course is always in beautiful condition! I've never had a bad experience here!

The course itself was in great shape. It lost 2 stars because of the staff. First thing, if you only wanna golf 9 holes, you always get put on the front, I have yet to play the back after 4 rounds. I understand people are making the turn, but when I call 2 days in advance for a tee time, something can be figured out. Second thing, the older gentlemen at the counter has always been rude to me every time I come in. I am younger and have tattoos, so therefore I must hack up your course and get treated poorly correct? Wrong. I'm a par shooter that enjoys the sport. I'm paying hard earned money to get treated like that? I'll find somewhere else to go.

Good golf course. Well maintained, some water issues on a couple of homes if it has been exceptionally wet. Pro staff is great. They have a excellent juniors program.

Good layout, pretty good shape, Still limited by virus protocol.

The staff is always so friendly and quick. The junior lessons are very good for the kids too.

Had a 12:56 tee time with my buddy and my son. Course was in pretty good shape and pace of play was awesome. The beer cart was running!

Great course! Fun front 9, back 9 is a little repetitive. They just aerated the greens but thats necessary for healthy grass. Price is very fair.

What an amazing experience! The course is beyond beautiful and the staff is incredible. If you're looking for country club quality without the exorbitant prices, look no further.

I really enjoyed golf league at Door Creek. Also, my husband and I pick Door Creek as the place to golf when we do golf! The golf course was in fantastic shape. Can't wait for next season.

My daughter had her inaugural golf out for Izzy's Books for wishes here and the event could not have been better. The facilities were great, staff was friendly and responsive, and the food was great.

My favorite course, hands down. Staff is great- I always feel welcome here! I have taken group golf lessons for the last 3 summers (L2G) and my game has improved so much. This is the course of choice when golfing with my husband or friends.

Great course for the money. Nice condition, helpful staff.
