Donbass Palace Hotel Review

Former hotel "Donbass" with the eponymous restaurant. In Soviet times, this hotel could afford almost any traveler. In modern times - only cash aces.
Halls are often rented for events of various levels.

Worthy of 5 stars, the hotel is not cheap. What these 5 stars are talking about, but when you go inside you have a super impression and a chic interior.

Stayed at the hotel in January 2019. Great service. Polite staff.
Staying at the hotel was overshadowed by food poisoning after eating a dish prepared in the kitchen of the hotel. What was left an entry in the hotel complaints book. The hotel kindly responded to my complaint, stating that the foodstuffs I used were heat-treated, which eliminates their negative effect on the body. This is of course super!

What to say: everything is done with the mind, with taste, from expensive materials. Luxury institution, the only 5-ka in Donetsk. In the past two years, empty, live mostly employees of international missions (UN). The price is surprising - the same as until 2014 (from UAH 7t; 16 rubles / day)

Great old building. Very similar to the old world comfort you find in Budapest. Friendly staff. Spa is worth the money for a day treatment. Bar is well stocked and classy. Rooms can be pricey for the area.
All over good minus the old Soviet vibe you are being constantly observed if you are foreigner.

An amazing feeling when you step on the carpet in the opera hall. Probably the same angels feel, walking on the clouds. Unforgettable place !!!!

I go there for the gym and spa. The gym is small but adequate and quiet. The spa in nice and very clean.
