Fabulous North Arlington community pool. Our kids swam NVSL so we got to see many NoVa pools. DRRA is most beautiful.
DRRA is a neighborhood pool in the truest sense. Members must live in the Donaldson Run neighborhood. It's beautifully sited, nestled amongst the tall trees. DRRA does it's best to accommodate ALL it's members: early morning lap swimmers, seniors water aerobics, swim and dive teams and families. (Yes it has a high dive!) Recently, it's been through several seasons of upgrades and it's better than ever. It's a small pool so there is a wait list. After 5 years on said list we became full members 10 years ago. It has a longer swim season than most pools (Mother's Day weekend to end of Sept). You can be an Aug/Sept member while you wait for a full member spot to open up.
The DRRA pool is a great place for families. Our older son is on the dive team, and we always enjoy spending time at the pool. Since membership is based on the neighborhood, many of our kids' friends are also members.
This pool is amazing! It even has a fun high dive, the food in the snack bar is spectacular, I only found a bee in my food once.
This pool is a good pool to go too but compared to other pools it is not as nice and the pool is small. Also the volleyball court had no sand and the basketball court has 1 hoop and is rundown
