Be aware. Messy, dirty shop, look on the floor in the milk section, check the refigirators...they never clean it... rotten vegetables, spoiled fish, weird colored meat with "solutions", BTW 15-20% solution, what's that? Yesterday got pomegranates there, look fresh but rotten inside. It is conception of Dominick's, looks fresh but rotten inside. Overpriced but cheap. Rude, bored, unprofessional staff. Never enough casshiers. Weird looking security. It is not local groccery shop, but it is one more inhuman corporation, they just make money and nobody cares about the helth or mood of the clients or own staff. Wish this corporation to be a bankrupt as soon as possible. The Each store need to be independent. Free compititions that's only way to get high quality service.

This one cashier "Sue"??" is so completely inept and incompetent all you'd have to do is throw a tennis ball past her and run out without paying.
It actually happened once that I knew more about the U-scan registers than she did. The butthole store manager yells at people, he must be rocking the Aspberger's pretty hard. Also, always bums outside.

The security guard stopped my son because he left something in his bag and clearly moved it to a secure spot. Right when me and my son were walking out the door he stopped us and said my son shoplifted. The guard called police and then said he was going to charge my son. They are untrustworthy and a bunch of pointless emplyees.

My first impulse was to give this dominicks zero stars, but I don't think that google will let me. I decided to give it two stars for these reasons: the Friday Pizza sale and chewy chocolate cookies. Please, somebody open a better grocery store in Edgewater! BTW, if you think the Jewel a few blocks south might be better, don't waste your time. It's just as bad. I buy my food at the stores on my way home from work.

Normally I like my fish a little fresh. The more scents =, the better. Unfortunately Dom's has fish that at it's prime. The old, :smells like trout, I'm out!" does not apply here.

Starbucks and Chase bank inside. Decently clean. Self checkout. No pharmacy attached like jewel-osco. Nice enough for a grocery store, though.

This Dominicks is close to where I live and is very Convenient. the Staff is friendly and attentive. The selection ad deals/sales are on point. I like the fact that there is an international section. Prices are good!
