Horrible Place. If I can give them zero stars I would. Horrible customer service. I made an appointment through the phone which was confirmed via text for 5:30 and I made it known that a groupon was purchased. After arriving and waiting for 30 min the lady in charge of facials came out and said that she couldnt take me because she was with a client and had an appointment after that at 7:00pm and the she would reschedule for another day, she told me I should not make an appointment the same day even after she confimed a spot for me. Avoid this place!

Horrible experience here! Went for a 1pm massage appointment, after waiting 15 minutes, was asked can I come back at 3, sorry, they re backed up. No real apology, as if this is ok. The place is a joke, and the manager Lux, is a bigger joke. Lux, have a blessed day! That is what she said to me as a was seeing red.

Got a full body massage but it wasnt exactly full body. Still the young woman did a good job.

PROS: friendly and clean, hence the extra star

CONS:
1. Worst massage I've ever had. It's very apparent the masseuse has no massage training (legal?). She did not understand the meaning of "massage," (let alone "deep"). She spent 35 min of a 60 min masage lightly patting my skin (no muscle penetration, no technique, no consistency) and pressed stones directly on my spine which is quite dangerous!! And apparently they leave you the last 15 minutes to "relax" which I decided to skip needlesss to say...it was sadly a waste of both time and money. I would say to them, please go to school to train if you want to be in this business!

2. There's a nail salon upstairs so expect to hear people stomping around and children yelling during your massage

3. If you are driving, there is only 1 hr max street/meter parking which is inconvenient if you get a 60+ minute massage. I was simply told hesitantly "oh you shouldn't get a ticket"

Terrible work. The owner should look for experienced or professional people, for when she herself cannot serve clients. I decided to do a plasma treatment again, but when I saw how my face looked when I got home, I regretted having gone to that place.
I honestly threw my money in the trash.

Since Honey Butter on dyckman street is now Closed, I decided to get my Brazilian wax from Lucy at Doll Face Spa. My experience was much more better here. I Love it. Affordable. Excellent Quality. Customer Service Excellent. Skills. Professional. Bilingual. Comfortable Environment. Spacious. Clean. Safe. And the List keeps on going. The best. Thank you Doll Face Spa.

I came in today for a 430 appt. The salon is the cutest I ve seen in a long time! Although I made my appt in advance, I did wait abt 30 mins before I was actually taken back to the bed. No complaints though, Lucy was kind enough to come out a few times to apologize and explain. The room was soooo nice! I honestly didn t know what to expect but it exceeded my expectations. Lucy was a great masseuse! I only felt that since I m small, she might ve went a little easy on me when I wanted her to dig a little but I m not complaining! I needed the relaxation. So thank you Lucy! I ll be coming back soon

I do not recommend this spa facial service! Neighborhood is loud, dirty, TONS of homeless and peddlers bothering you. I wasn t greeted when I walked in, instead told abruptly to sit down by a woman who was face timing on her phone. I wasn t asked to fill out any paperwork about my skin health or regimen. How is it a CUSTOM facial if you know nothing about my skin needs? Nearly 25 minutes after my appointment time, I was brought into a room, that was very lackluster in the SPA experience. Cold, dirty floors, old sound machine playing ocean sounds on repeat. I was told to put on some towel/wrap garment that was dirty around the edges, I m sure from the many other patrons who ve also worn it, no thanks! Facial was not impressive! Definitely NOT a custom facial as Groupon described! I received ZERO feedback on my skin or tips for hydration, etc...because she hardly spoke English. She used paper products to wipe off excess product from my face, rather than a warm washcloth. In fact, I didn t see a decent towel or washcloth anywhere! At the end of the service, as she was moisturizing my face, I could smell spices on her fingertips from the food she just ate. Gross. THIS IS NOT A SPA!! It s a glorified nail salon at BEST...which by the way is directly over the spa rooms so when she left me in the dark room alone (which she did several times without even asking if I was comfortable or needed anything), all I could hear was stomping and commotion from upstairs. I will definitely NOT be going back for a second time! DO NOT purchase this Groupon, you will certainly get what you paid for...or didn t pay for! Not worth saving a buck at all!
