Worthy for the entrance price. Pretty safe, you can escape for the local vendor trying to pursue you to buy them something, so you can just chill and relax. Inside there are few places where you can buy food and drinks like The Sand Bar, if you come with a group try the Jerk Plater (is good to share with 3 other people).

If anything you can bring your own food there is not a limitation for that!

Hope you enjoy it!!!

Great location on the hip strip, across from the private beach and walking distance from restaurants. The rooms were all spacious and clean, with pretty updated bathrooms, but dated decor. Although i enjoyed my stay, the pool could be cleaned a bit more often and continental breakfast is extremely slow with little substance. Kenny, the bartender was friendly and outgoing. Lij the bellman was helpful and courteous. Everyone at the front desk were efficient and quick. Mr. C has amazing customer service skills! I am looking forward to staying again, the nightly price is great for someone like me, whom travels solo.

The two stars are each for the bartender as well as the fact that there s a/c in the rooms. As for everything else it s appalling for the price they re charging guests. The rooms are in total disarray with beds and furniture that probably is older than the usual visitor (I m in my mid 40s by the way). The entire property needs a face lift. The images are a total facade from the reality you find at this motel . Considering I m from Southern Africa, i m yet to ever experience such below par standards anywhere else. The whole property needs a redo and serious updating. This is not for the faint at heart or those who suffer from OCD. You might feel at home if you re one who s accustomed to the Motel 6s and the privately owned motels with no standards. The wifi is only accessible when in the lobby and the bar area. Ironically, you can connect to the Spanish Hotel wifi which is across the street (of course you ll need a passcode to access). Thankfully we were only there for one night.

Just a wonderful slice of real Jamaica in Montego Bay, a lovely hotel with great staff and a warm environment. Lovely pool area and breakfast is served there - DC is a historic structure near everything - safe, fun and reasonable!
