The stampede was fantastic! My family went for a Christmas show and was very impressed with the food and the acts.

They have the art of the "dinner show" down to a real science here, with no menus to fuss over to detract from the show, and everyone in the entire place gets each course at the same time in a way that keeps the distractions to an absolute minimum. Very impressive.

I was concerned that the food would be very mediocre since they cook such large quantities but I was thoroughly impressed with the flavor of everything and have no complaints whatsoever.

We went for the Christmas show. The meal was delicious. We had a creamy vegetable soup, cheddar biscuit, roasted Cornish hen, sliced pork tenderloin, roasted potato half, corn on the cob, and a flaky apple turnover for dessert. Our server, Greg, was so funny. We enjoyed his silly antics. The show was marvelous! The horses and riders were splendid. The live nativity was magnificent! Everything is done smoothly and efficiently. The staff is warm, kind, and friendly! Well worth the money!

This was a lot of fun. Chicken was really good but rest of food was average at best. Service was about as efficient as you can get and the show was entertaining. Kept my 2 year old nephew very entertained for two hours but he does love horses.

The dinner show is simple the best in the area! I am lactose free and my wife a vegetarian and they were able to accommodate us with two meals aside from their normal menu. These two meals were fantastically made and imagined to be as delicious as the normal meals. Fully engaging for the entire time. Worth every penny plus some. I've personally done this show 3 times and have been more pleased with my experience every time. Would give a 6th star if possible.

Great place, its not like anything else I have seen. It is chease, but it is awsome at the same time. I recommend it a lot. If your looking to have good entertainment while eating a good meal, this is the, best place to be.

Dolly knows how to do great family entertainment. This is a great experience for families. The pre-show was outstanding with 3 top knotch bluegrass performers and the main show was great. We had an outstanding waiter and you walk away stuffed from all the food they keep bringing. If it's got Dolly's name on it, you are guaranteed a great time.

I have been to the Stampede 4 times now and reccomend this show over any of the other ones in the area. The special effects of the show are amazing and the show is ment for people of all ages. They also give you to go bags in case you can't eat the whole meal. I also reccomend getting there in time to watch the pre-show.

Impressed by wait staff. They've got mass serving down to a science. The show was OK. Not as much North versus South as anticipated, but I'd give it a solid B.
The food was tasty enough, but when you add it all up, there really wasn't a lot. The Cornish hen was small, the so-called pulled pork was a very thin slice, not pulled and was about 2" wide by 3" long.
Funny thing, my son-in-law got two big pieces and a comment card. Coincidence? The remaining 13 of us all got the same small piece and no comment cards. Hmmmm.
$45 for a meal and a show, not too terrible though since we were on vacation.

What a thrilling adventure. It was so amazing and totally worth the money. From the salute to the military to the southern Belle's it was such fun. The audience is able to participate and the food is delicious. We have a whole Cornish hens, pork chop, corn, potatoes, rolls, soup and so yummy.
I highly recommend this place. So great for the children and adults even have fun

We went there together with our kids. Overall it was o.k., food was nothing special but not bad. The pre-show band was great. We were disappointed that music for the main show was not live. The "games" with the audience were boring. The show did not really impress us parents

My 4 and 1 year old loved the show, neither of them sit still for nothing. The food is amazing, and the wait person was amazing. Its nice that you can go meet the performers after the show.

I first visited decades ago and I thought the ticket prices were much too expensive. I didn't want to go, but everyone else in my party wanted to go. I thought, "Okay--I'll go just this once, but never again." Well... I've been about 6 or 7 times now. It cost much more today, but I feel it is very much worth the price.

It's a good 3 hours of entertainment if you count the pre-show. The show is full of country music, comedy, and competitions that are rodeo-style and also not-so-rodeo-style. If noe of that excites you, don't let that hold you back. I don't care for any of that either... yet... it is a very entertaining and hilarious show and I love it.

The food is not the best, but it's good. It's mass produced several times daily, so don't expect the fine linens to come out. You'll have no silverware. It's well known that you'll eat your fixins here with nothin' but hands. Most of the servers are very funny. If your server is not that funny, you'll still enjoy the show. Your food is delivered assembly-line style. I enjoyed watching the food delivery as much as the show!

If you visit Gatlinburg often, you may not want to visit this dinner attraction each time. Stagger your visits so that some of the show performances have time to be updated. Though, parts of the routines never change, so you may become a little tired of it if you visit too much. It's a definite "must do" if you haven't been before. Though, if you are a first time visitor to this touristy area, this will take a chunk out of your day--you may not want to invest that much time if you are only in down for a couple of days.

Tip: Don't buy the souviner boot mug. They will try to sell it to you when you make reservations (rsvp is a must) or during the pre-show. Just skip it. You'll save a few bucks. I see these mugs at thrift stores all over the country for 25 cents. If you buy one, rest assured, it'll probably end up in a thrift store like all the rest.

First time visiting. Enjoyed dinner and a show. Food was ok. Not the best but it was better than some regular restaurants that I have eaten in. Atmosphere even though you are in in stadium seating and eating you didn't feel crowded. I mean this place was packed but still had room to move. On the other hand trying to leave it's like a cattle chute 2 or 3 at a time. Easy to get to but when you leave there is no traffic lights to let you out. Hard when you are turning left to go back to Gatlinburg. Traffic still pretty busy even after 9 pm. Wasn't for the leaving the show and no light would be a five

Decent entertainment for the price. The food was plentiful but lacked flavor. Only one tray of condiments for the entire row and it was in the middle 6 people down from us.No eating utensils provided so bring your own or prepare to get your hands dirty. The smell in the arena was horrible and made it hard to keep the food we ate down and not throw up. The preshow was awesome!

This place has a fantastic dinner and a show! The performance before the main event was entertaining, and it was nice that appetizers were available if desired. The main show with the horses was very entertaining, and the food was superb. My parents enjoyed the soup so much that they got the mix for it in the gift shop after everything was over. Thanks so much for Paula's excellent service while we were there!

We took a family of 6, it was over $300. We had one vegetarian. The food was horrible!!! The wait staff were very rushed! The vegetarian only got canned fruit instead of soup. We have been before and had an amazing time. It just went down hill ALOT!!! Wished we would have picked a different show.
