I have lived in many houses/apartments over the years and Discovery is by far the best property management company I have ever come across. Extremely helpful, responsive, and honest. The team is friendly and very professional.
Looking for an apartment with limited time was a nightmare. Thankfully the team at Discovery understood my needs and was able to match me with a charming (newly renovated) unit that ticked everything on my wishlist. Minor issues after move-in but was swiftly dealt with by management. Love the convenience of submitting requests via online portal.
Moved into a ready nice place that the company remodeled with a new kitchen and bathrooms. I only see this quality of materials in new units but choose this place because it was in a smaller 5 unit building. My neighbors are great too. Very responsive managers that seem to keep up the property as things are being taken care of or upgraded. We just got a new laundry room door, laundry room sink and exterior lights. Very cool, thanks.
This company is really bad. If owners knew how bad they are they would not use them. They were nice up front and they show well initially....then you have to deal with their maintenance group and dealing with having to get your security deposit is almost comical. They simply want to take most of your money. Try to use someone else if you can.....
As a tenant, Disco Invest Mgt is a10 star, simply the best!
Randy Lee and his team have been managing our property for over 16 years and have taken such wonderful care of our property. They have always managed to rent our our house to excellent people who have always taken care of our property as if it was their own. Couldn't be happier with Discovery Investments as a property manager
our oven stopped working after 3 months being in our new apartment and it unfortunately took Discovery 7 MONTHS to replace it. I had to call every single day to finally get them to address the matter. If you are looking for a property manager with a sense of urgency and trustworthiness, this is not the place.
I love my apartment and have been renting with Discovery Investments since 2005 - I moved in 2010 from one of their studios to a 1 bedroom in the same building. They are the best landlords I've ever had. I appreciate their responsiveness and care. I never thought I would be living here for as long as I have had but they have made being a renter easy for me to stay. I feel so fortunate to have some amazing neighbors in the building as well.
I ve lived in my apartment for 2 years now and love it. I have been in 2 units (moved to a bigger one) and both were clean and in great condition. For the most part, it feels like I am in my own home and not an apartment complex. Anytime I needed anything the staff have been responsive, maintenance staff were always kind and fixed issues in a reasonable time. Reading other reviews I wonder if I got lucky with whoever owns the building (my previous apartment had the most unresponsive/stingy landlord, the property manager could never get approval to fix anything - different company). I m most impressed with how they ve handled COVID. Our shared laundry facility have been frequently sanitized. I ve had issues getting quarters for the machines but someone has always brought me change. They even inquired if I needed any assistance in getting necessities. Compared to some of the other apartments I have visited, this place feels secure, safe and like a home.
Absolutely a nightmare to deal with. We rented through Discovery for 8 years and had to contact the owner directly to get anything done. I would recommend looking at the Yelp reviews in addition to this. Also Glassdoor as you will get insight from somebody who worked there
