This place is amazing! We loved the dolphin experience, snorkeling around in the warm and cool waters, and exploring the different beaches! The service and snacks are great too!! Definitely one of the main highlights of our trip.

This was such an amazing experience. I really enjoyed this day. The snorkeling is incredible. There are many fish and stingrays, as well as coral. Everything is provided for you. There's endless food, sunscreen, showers, towels, drinks, and the atmosphere is great. Feeding the birds was cool. They'll just land on you. The lazy river was nice and warm. It was relaxing laying on a hammock in the sun. I had a very lovely time and it was worth the money.

My daughter was recently diagnosed with eplipsey and I called to see if maybe they accommodate her. We had already booked the dolphin swim but her nurologist suggested maybe not.... They refused to credit me my money back ($500) for my family of 5 dolphin swim. Obviously we are not all going to do it while my 8 year old watches! VERY DISAPPOINTED this is year 6 and probably our last year coming to this place..... oh and it's more than 30 days notice..

Had a really great time at discovery cove. The salt water pool snorkeling with fish for someone who had never snorkeled before was an amazing experience. We paid for the dolphin experience which I had always heard was swimming with dolphins, I was incorrect you get to pet and watch them do tricks in the water so tbh not worth the money maybe try the underwater dive or the shark swim. Overall a great time for the price.

I was at Discovery Cove in November 2014. I have celiac disease and am therefore am gluten free. I was treated like a princess at discovery cove despite my allergy to gluten. The chef came out and talked with me about what I was able to eat and cooked me something that I was assured was not contaminated by any other product that contained gluten. They treated me so nicely and even gave me gluten free snacks to take with me and eat throughout the day. Everyone at Discovery Cove is so accommodating and friendly. We had an amazing time and I cannot wait to come back and visit again!!!

This was my second time at Discovery. It's an amazing place. Being allowed to get up close to the animals and swim freely with the different fish and rays is an experience that everyone should have. We got to swim with the sharks this time, and we did the underwater seaventure. It's definitely somewhere that you need to do two days at if you have the time and funds, one day for the extra experiences and one day just to roam around and have fun.

Clean, friendly staff, well organized and absolutely fun. It was not crowded. I did the dolphin Excursion and it was amazing. A very enjoyable and relaxing day trip. The food was okay but it was available all day. Something to note is that alcohol such as wine beer and a frozen drinks is included in the basic package which is not very clear on the website. No need to upgrade. My only criticism is the website it is a bit confusing with regards to in putting your reservation as it refers to you as guest 1 guest to guest 3 guest 4 even though you're only one person. But definitely a must do on your list of activities when in Orlando I'm certainly going back and taking my children this time.

Best Dolphin Encounter ever. Been 5 times over the past 10 years and the COVID protocols made this the best encounter of all trips! Everyone was respectful to COVID protocols and wore masks appropriately. Great to experience a lot of local Orlando residents experiencing such a great adventure. Great reservation experience with the calendar showing the discounted days for Florida residents. Keep that calendar!!!

I did trainer of the day and it was the most amazing experience I've ever had. I spent a lot more time with the dolphins and really enjoyed all the extra things we got do to with them. The trainer I followed for the day was Karen. She was super sweet and really helped make the experience even better. Our group got to do a little bit of everything and at the end we got the rest of the time to spend with our families. I highly recommend paying the extra cost to do trainer of the day.

I cannot rate Discovery Cove high enough. Our daughter must be in a wheelchair. During our Dolphin Swim, which was her Wish, two gracious assistants supported her in the water while encouraging her to interact with the dolphins. We ended the day swimming as a family on the Wide River, exploring the Aviary, and visiting with otters & monkeys until the park closed. After our week in Florida, the family agreed that, given the chance, we'd spend a week at Discovery Cove and Sea World, rather than try to take in all the parks.

Beautiful place, so chill, so picturesque, alcohol and food is included in the price. The grand reef is full of amazing tropical fish and the aviary is a great place to feed, and get pictures of the pretty birds. My mum and I enjoy a resort day at DC, no dolphin swim, just hanging out in a hammock or swimming in the lazy River. Absolutely love it here! After multiple visits, I just have one criticism, I wish it closed much later, I could stay all day!

Can't say enough good things! My husband and I went here on our honeymoon, and this was the one place we didn't want to leave and it was the highlight of our week in Florida. Because they limit the number of people for daily entry, we commented that it was more of a calmer and quieter atmosphere than a more crowded park. The food, drinks, and alcohol included in the day pass was spectacular. We literally spent the whole day laying in hammocks, drinking Land Shark, and swimming in the Grand Reef with the stingrays and fish. Absolutely recommend it.

We skipped the dolphin swim this time. We went on a cold day but made the best of the weather. Snorkeling and having rays swim under you was amazing! Food was long line in am and not great...but attractions and park vibe were fantastic

This is a must-see place and experience. Swimming with the dolphins was one of the best days of my life. And snorkeling With The Stingrays and all of the exotic fish felt like I was in the Caribbean.

Incredible. Drop the mike. Best attraction in Orlando. Pro tip. If you are planning to stay all day and you are older or have a few extra pounds make sure that you use the vest and not the suits.

Unique experience that costs a bit more but includes a swim with dolphins and other hands on activities. Admissions are limited so park is never over crowded. Pricey but worth it for what you get.

Ok, so it's a small, aquatic-themed amusement park in Orlando; doesn't sound like much of an attraction, but this place is a gem. The Grand Reef is a saltwater habitat for countless species of tropical fish, rays, and skates...and you can swim in it. They provide wetsuits as well as snorkeling gear and you're free to mingle with the wildlife as you please, just don't touch the fish or chase wildlife and you're free to respectfully enjoy and share these animals' home. That alone would have been worth the trip to us, but the lazy river is amazing. It's a great way to spend an hour or two relaxing after a big meal. You can even grab a slushie or a soda and float with it in that one attraction. They also have an aviary where you can feed the birds, an otter enclosure you can swim right up to, a shark enclosure you can swim right up to, and several other awesome offerings. The food was all included and you could have as much as you like. The taste and quality of everything was excellent. We all got a different dish and just shared as we pleased, going back for seconds of whatever we especially liked. It was a great, active, memorable day. The best part of the day? That'd be getting to swim with a dolphin. Our flippery friend was named Capricorn, who is a movie star we were told as he was the helpful, rescuer dolphin in Jaws III. He swam by so we could run a hand along his back, he did several tricks for us, we got to (carefully) grab on and have him take us for a dolphin ride, and we even got a chance to give him a big hug and take a picture with him. He was great. I would definitely do Discovery Cove over again.

Worst Customer Service in the world! If I could give them 0 stars I would. I called more than 30 days in advance of our trip for a refund and was told it will take up to 60 days for a refund. I am reading many other reviews where people have been waiting for more than 60 days and still no refund. I am calling the BBB and the State Attorney General of Florida as well as my credit card company to file complaints. I have made 3 phone calls now (all documented with times and who I spoke to) and have still not gotten anywhere with this shady company. Update:, we finally got our refund on 7/28 and the only reason I believe it was paid was due to our filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If you are in the same boat we were in, get your complaint filed with the BBB.

Great experience all around. If you get there when the park first opens you may have some downtime until 9 am, but it gives you time to explore. The Aviary was the best part of the trip. All the staff were wonderful and quick to answer questions. The lady who checked us in did not make us feel welcome, but from then on our experience got better.

Words cannot describe just how incredible this place is. Every second, every interaction, every place is just perfectly crafted and planned for. Great food, great service, and great animals. You might wonder if it's worth it. No, it's a steal. Trust me if you can afford this, go for it.

Discovery Cove is the hidden gem oasis of Orlando. I m surprised at how few people have heard of it or been here. We go back every year at least once. If you re tired of the overcrowded and chaotic waterparks and want the feel of traveling to a five star resort in Hawaii, this is it. The best lazy river anywhere I ve been (and I ve tried nearly all in the area). Book ahead and pick your weekend as prices can fluctuate a lot. But once there, you can leave your wallet in the locker as you get unlimited food and drinks. They re known for the dolphin swims, but the snuba dive experience is what we most come back to.

This is the best theme park in Orlando. It's a different kind of day, no rides, water slides, etc but it's a great experience. I highly recommend doing to dolphin swim experience at least once, though it's still a good day even without that. Tickets are more expensive than other parks, but it includes breakfast, lunch and unlimited snacks and drinks (including alcohol) so you may not end up spending any/much more in the end.

I haven't been there yet, but from the looks of it, it looks pretty good. On the other hand I find it unfair because non residents of Florida have to pay a higher price to get in, which in my opinion is unfair it the non residents.

Still the best place in orlando for just relaxing, not sure it was worth the price this time as we do it every year and just felt abit samey but if you like the 5star Hotel with a beach type holiday this is for you.

Yes, the ticket is not cheap, but still my favorite theme park as a local . If you like snorkeling, you are in for a treat, the salt water pool has so many variety fish and sting ray, you won't be able to see anywhere else. The dolphin encounter is more of an opportunity to taking photos with dolphin, decide yourself if it's worth the extra $100+ price.

Totally worth every cent. If price is an issue, buy the cheaper non-dolphin encounter ticket. (The dolphin portion is only 30 minutes of the day, anyway.) Everything is included: food, alcohol, wetsuits, sunscreen, etc etc. The best part: NOT CROWDED. if you want a relaxing, peaceful experience, this is it. It s NOT your typical water park. Fun to see the live animals and swim with the fish.

I agree, staff is friendly and nice. The price is high, and the food wasn t the greatest. Very dry and felt very theme park like. The dolphin experience truly is awesome though, but then if you want just 4 pictures (their lowest package) it s over 100 dollars more!! And they won t give them to you digitally, unless you spend another 100 dollars for the elite package so enjoy scanning the pictures into your computer ( I believe 5x7s). I felt the pictures, even just one digitally, should have been included in that already high price. For me, I m glad I did it and don t regret it...but it s not worth doing it again at that price. If you can, have someone in your party take the pictures from shore or rocks or make friends with another family and do it for each other.

What an incredible experience. We purchased the dolphin swim package and added SeaVenture. If you can, do these. You will not regret it! My only complaint is the cost for photos. We spent $150 for digital copies of our dolphin experience and were told they were high quality. Yes, the photos are good but they are not full photo quality by today's standards. My 10 year old DSLR produces higher resolution photos. The photographers are not providing as high a quality photo as possible which, at $150, shouldn't even be an option. If you plan on doing to SeaVenture, bring an underwater camera. The divers will take group photos at no charge.
