I have submitted a travel claim for four weeks already and there is no acknowledgement or any customer service adviser to follow up. This is apparently a terrible company working on skeleton staff and no calls are ever picked up. This is a virtual company to avoid at all cost.

Purchased a worldwide annual travel insurance policy from them. Smooth process of quotation and secured payment through their website. Premiums offered were cheaper than ones from NTUC and that is inclusive of the added loading for "extreme sports". Overall, I'm a happy customer.

Terrible, i paid and received cover note. I called them to amend to my new car number 3 days later, after verifying some details. The telemarketer told me that I am not insured and have to wait for the underwriter to get back as I didn't state the other one accident which I was not at fault, which they didn't even give the option to choose 1 at fault while 1 not at fault. I was driving the car on that day, and what if something had happened to me! Really the worst insurance company! Worst still they dare to charge me a cancellation fee of $90 when i didn't even use it for even a day!

I am a first time user of DirectAsia to purchase car insurance. The quotation to purchase process is simple and straight forward. I called them twice to clarify further on certain points, the telephone enquiry process is also simple and straight forward with the friend customer officers. Hope i don't need to review their claiming and other post accident processes. Will continue to use them for travel insurance base on the simple process.

Excellent service. I got my Car Insurance done in less then 15mins.Moreover the direct quote is $100 cheap then AVIVA and AXA.

I have been unable to call through to this company and it has wasted a lot of my time. On the rare occasion that you managed to call through, the customer service agent would promise to call back on your inquiries but there will be no call. This company has turned out to be a real disappointment!

Do not ever buy any insurance from Direct Asia as it auto renews your insurance and when it is time to claim they decline your claim based on total irrelevant basis. An absolute scam of an insurance company. I bought a annual travel insurance plan and when I experienced a theft case abroad due to no fault of mine, they have the audacity to turn it down. The vehicle I was in had tinted windows and there was no way in hell anyone could see what was in the van and yet they could come up with the most flimsy excuse to deny my claim. DO NOT EVER purchase any insurance from this company.

Fantastic !!! I'm surprise that your rate is more competitive than the insurance I've been using for several years. I'm rather sadden by my previous insurance company as the rates they offered me is rather high thought I have a very minor accident recently. If they have check my track record , I've not make a single claim in more than 10 years of driving.
Anyway , I'm glad renewing my insurance can be make so easy and fast and even better paying in monthly installments without interest. Will recommend my friends to consider using your service too . Well Done !

BUT!! Encountered some errors whilst buying the premium, who the heck understand the error codes...

With the call center closed, and ins deadline its frustrating..

Could be better with a 24hr call center for situations like this or at least have a section on the website tabulating different error codes that may occur so at least cust will be able to narrow down and address the error.

Easy renewal service. Pricing is reasonable. Suggestion: Can include price comparison with other insurance company to give us a overview to be more satisfactory. We will be more satisfied if there are returning customer loyalty discounts.

Overall very good. The one thing that was confusing and could be clearer would be to state the amount of the basic cover in each category before the additional cover then option. I selected additional cover in one category but when the figure for the basic cover was shown on the next page basic cover was sufficient for my needs in that category so i had to go back and cancel the additional cover.

Otherwise the process was very good and straight forward.

The application process was straightforward, and price is reasonable. However, I wish improvements could be made in (1) allowing purchase of travel insurance much earlier, the minute I booked the flight, instead of a later date set by DirectAsia; and (2) indicate upfront the insurance company selling me the policy.

Took their car insurance 6 months ago. Be careful on auto-renewal clause, I realized they auto renewed my policy without my consent and my credit card was charged for the renewal. However, upon an simple email request to cancel the auto-renewal & stop further recurring debiting of my credit card (auto-renewed policy have not started yet), they responded to it within 2 emails & matter of days. I was expecting them drag this along or throw up more roadblocks for my cancellation request. To my pleasant surprise, it was settled efficiently hassle-free. Good service recovery and thank you to the customer service team!

Fast and quick renewal. On top of that, it gives me a discount on my premium for "No Claim" bonus. Cheapest quote around. The big players seem to keep increasing their premiums every year cause they spread the moral hazard problem around.

They will make sure you pay, but when you submit claims, they just disappear. No reply for 1 month. Called them every week and the call center staff just says someone will call / email back, which ends up never happen. Submitted CASE against them.

Within a day reply. Nice additional insurance on medical expense and 24 hour breakdown service. Get complimentary Shell 900 points equivalent $30.

For years, I have much greviance about the motor insurance framework in Singapore. I could not understand why premiums keep going up for drivers with good records. When comparing a few quotes, the prices seems comparable on the high side.

I was at first skeptical with DA, since it is the first time, and I really do not know what to expect in the event of a claim. When I compared the quote from DA, it is almost $400 less than renewal offered by my current insurer. There might be some competitive features each offers, but as my primary aim is to obtain a no frill low cost policy, I decided on DA.

I must add that the website is very easy to use, the security feature is excellent too. There is no ambiguity in the terms, and the prompt messsages are helpful to clarify any lack of understanding. The explanations are logical and written in simple to understand English.

From my very initial experience so far, I feel delighted.
