Choir trip London 8-11 July 2016
At the end of 2015, the Borculo General Mixed Choir had planned to make a trip to London with the choir.
The goal was to sing along with The Really Big Chorus in the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday, July 10.
The Carmina Burana was performed under the inspiring leadership of conductor Bob Chilcott.
A number of enthusiastic members of the choir have set themselves up as a "travel committee" and have been diligent in meeting and have subsequently drawn up a plan of action.
Part of this plan of action was making contacts with bus companies that had to put together a package tour.
Coincidentally, a project choir member drew our attention to Diogenes travels in Amersfoort. For us it was an unknown party.
After pleasant telephone contacts and an excellent inventory of wishes and ideas, it was decided to work with Diogenes. We have absolutely no regrets.

Very professional and friendly, they are always ready for you. Always super helped to make our group trip a success. The trip was arranged to perfection and Diogenes Reizen thinks along well with you. It doesn't matter which location you choose, they know where to find nice places. The excursions were also very fun and educational. Learned and seen a lot. For years only positive!
Last year we organized a well organized student trip with Diogenes. Staff has knowledge of many destinations and inspired us to go to Lisbon. The hostel was right in the center and had excellent facilities. The company was easily accessible for questions. All in all a must!

Last weekend through your organization with the Markelo "s Mannenkoor went to Cologne, had a very good weekend, the weather was good, and everything was arranged according to agreement, thick for each other, except for one thing ... the dinner at Peters Brauhaus .. .Never have I seen such a bastard of owner, as the owner of Peters Brauhaus. Even before the first person was sitting at the table, he (where the average owner would say a word of welcome) started yelling that there was no sung or spoken loudly, when someone tapped the back of the knife on the table, the same threat came to laugh again, and this was punished not only in our company but also at other tables, the man left his dissatisfaction with it the food itself was very mediocre, the soup and the raw food were good to eat, in contrast to the 2 small schnitzel (fried schnitzel of pressed meat, as tough as a shoe sole) and the so-called bratkartoffeln that w eg had glassy saltless potatoes that were not well cooked, than fried potatoes. In short, certainly not on a rader, and considering the price for this food certainly not, you are significantly better off at the cafeterias or curry sausage tents that are readily available in Cologne, cost less, is a lot tastier, and the service is in comparison with Peters Brauhaus superior.

Dutch bus with the text 'Diogenes reis' on it number plate 11 BFK 55 at gas station exit no. 15 on the E17 direction Antwerp, around 17.30. It was very busy with all kinds of buses.
But the Dutch bus from Diogenes travels:
-Drive on an avenue where buses are not allowed, but only cars.
-Stored backwards to park somewhere on this car route, but where exactly the plan was to park was vague considering there were no parking places in that zone.
-the bus drove backwards on a sidewalk.
- There was just a large group of school children (!!) who had to jump aside.
-your driver then continuously continued backwards a bit back on the road (the middle part of the bus was therefore on a sidewalk) and a car behind the bus had to make way to the side, but had too little space due to other cars (And all blocked by this bus So).
Multiple cars honked but driver ignored that.
- he only stopped this illegal act because someone worked hard on his window and made him understand that this was not possible. He was thereby forced to drive again.
And he found a parking space at the end of the exit, so all those problems did not have to.
The passengers want a break and so on, understandable, but such driving behavior is life-threatening and outrageous. Riding on is better than running into children.
Please speak to your driver about it.
