I wasn't there but I'll give them 5 stars if they try not to be like the Alkmaar store... I once went into their Alkmaar store and played a lot of guitars for hours, buying guitars is difficult when you have 1000+ to spend. I couldn't decide on which one I wanted and so left; their selling techniques made me feel guilty.
Buying a guitar is a personal thing and you must get the right one.
Came in, asked to ne alkowed to go upstairs to the basses place, lo ger than 10 minutes waiting, nno help, left. Ni service.

First ever time I walked in here I was asked if "I was gonna buy a guitar or not", I wanted that guitar so bought it anyways despite of the rude customer service.
Fast forward to yesterday, I bought a guitar pedal that arrived without a power supply. The pedal preferably runs on a uncommon voltage so I rather have the original power adapter. After calling two times (the first time I was promised an email response I never got) the guy on the phone said I just had to settle for the one the are going to send me.
I really want to like and support the remaining smaller private owned music businesses, but the Dijkman personnel really make it hard to do so. I'm sad to say I wont ever be buying something from this store again.
I had better customer service at Mcdonalds.
Session musician, went to purchase a new Guitar and the sales man literally ignored what i asked and then continued to just play his favorite guitars and explain why there better than what i requested. Considering i already own what he was trying to push this was hilarious and i needed a specific instrument for a specific gig which i explained and he just ignored. Great selection of instruments, horrendous service. I actually found what i needed there but i didn't spend my money because of him. which was a cool 1300 Euro. Shame

If your a professional travelling musician/etc.. they will try to rip you off and only help if it's convenient for them, after going there for more than ten years when passing through Amsterdam I really must recommend you try BAX instead. It'll take all day to get served, but at least they will try. Or alternatively the internet. As my Dutch partner said as we left disgusted "they expect you to be grateful they let you into the shop".
