Is more beautiful than before. However, despite the fact that you now have to book during this time, it was quite busy. Parking lot was packed to the rafters and the narrow paths were regularly blocked by entire families. Had expected only half a car park to be available.
Furthermore, the animals looked well cared for again and the park is wonderfully green with many different play areas for children

I don't think it looks neatly maintained, animals were mostly in the mud, or ground. Furthermore, it was very busy much too busy for this time of corona. You could only walk 1 route, so a pile of people everywhere. Very unpleasant! I thought it was not recommended.

Very nice park, with family from young to old. We had the advantage that the weather was nice. The animals may then be a bit slower and seek the shade.
One of the employees also had a nice educational explanation of the turtles.
For us it was certainly successful.

Fine place, even in winter weather. Lots of play areas for the children, everything is neat and you can walk between the lemurs and birds. Good price for the entrance but I think 6 euros to park is a bit over the top.

The kids loved it. You could just walk through the lemurs and sit on their shoulders. They thought that was super fun. Many play areas and it is not that large-scale. A very nice zoo. I, as a grandmother, also enjoyed it.

A chic zoo, especially for children. Everything is done compactly and very stylishly. Animals are very close to visitors, limos, some here are generally hand-like, and in general, from time to time the feeling is like walking around the reserve, not the zoo. In general, everyone will enjoy the visit.

Despite the Corona measures, Dierenrijk has done everything to give everyone a nice day. The first show with elephants was fun. Hopefully they see opportunities to do the same with the penguins

Dear "Dutchman"! The "one" star is still too much - but unfortunately you can not send a rating!
As a passionate amateur photographer, I have visited a number of zoos and zoos in Germany and the Netherlands in recent years. But the Dierenrijk Zoo in Mierlo, is by far the most wretched zoo I've seen in a long time! And that at an entrance fee of 19.95 euros per person plus 6 euros parking fees. And I wonder what the money is spent for, if not for species-friendly and loving enclosures ?! The price is absolutely covered and borders on an impudence! Just to name a few examples: In the middle of the enclosure of the red pandas there is a huge power pole. At the back of the enclosure there is a railway line with trains running every few minutes (every few minutes). The animals are exposed to this additional noise day and night. An absolute impertinence. In the few enclosures there are fresh greens or plants, most of them "trot" on brown, dusty ground. Even from shady trees can be no question. Or the shrubs are also fenced, completely meaningless! The majority of the enclosure is also fenced with electricity everywhere, also completely meaningless. The enclosures have come down and are sometimes much, much too small! The discs through which you have to watch the animals (there are zoos that can not get out) are totally dirty and scratched. A catastrophe for amateur photographers. The enclosures are fenced with some shrubs, so you only have a few points from which you can watch the animals! I could go on writing, but I doubt that anything will change in the zoo. Take an example at Zoo Overloon or Zoom Erlebniswelt Gelsenkirchen. There I pay less admission and parking fees and can observe the animals in beautiful, animal-loving enclosures. My conclusion: never again !!! I rarely write internet reviews, but this zoo does not deserve it any other way!

A nice friendly zoo that is nicely laid out and not very expensive
You can get very close to the appen and the tickle fish are also very nice
In the afternoon there is a guided tour for children where they get an explanation about the feeding of the animals and are allowed to feed the animals themselves

Nice zoo for children and parents, but you have to pay a lot of money for many things. 5 Car parking, 2 walking route, entrance child or not 23 pp, water or fresh 3, mini pannini 5, animal feed 0.50. However, a tip if you want to eat afterwards ff to d'n dommel pancake house you can play and normal prices to eat and drink free car parking.

Awesome

Today a very first introduction to Dierenrijk.

Today a very first introduction to Dierenrijk.
We are pleasantly surprised! The park is well maintained. The walking route is very clear and wonderful.
Animals have large enclosures and the way the walking route runs you have the opportunity to view most enclosures from multiple sides.
There is also plenty to do for children.
Catering is fine and especially the various freshly made sandwiches are delicious.
We will definitely come back here!

Any right minded person would know not to put two predators in the same enclosure. This is ridiculous and action against the zoo should be taken to the extrem. The zoo directors reasonings for this are just as ridiculous as the attack itself. None of this should ve happened. You job is not to make money if you re working with animals at this capacity it is to ensure the lives of the animals for whatever reason they cannot be released back into the wild. Animals come first not your pay check.

Where do the ring tailed lemurs still loose and are they sitting on your back?

The corona rules are well enforced at the park. The park is excellent for children, lots of fun playgrounds and an indoor playground. It is also fun to watch animals.
Personally, I think the animals show a lot of stereotypical behavior and have small, unenriched enclosures, which makes me less happy to go there myself.

If you want to go there more than 2 times a year, a subscription is recommended, you get this quickly.

What a lovely zoo. There are quite some animals to spend a few hours here. Along the way there are enough playgrounds for children. The day we went, every hour feeding time/information time about different animals.
