Loved meeting students from other countries and had some very memorable encounters that I'm sure they will never forget nor will I. Especially in study area and library with Keiko who helped me with foreign language and I showed her something also
My visit was not related to education nor the school itself except that it was the venue, where I went, for my covid shot. Hats off to Contra Costa Health Services for an orderly layout / process! And hats off to DVC for it's clean school grounds!
Beautiful campus. Many walks of life. Teachers and staff may not be reasonable at times but its generally good for an education. Already had 2 friends transfer, you can go your own pace.
I used to go there in the past and always had a good experience. I was just there to get my Covid-19 vaccine. It was very well organized and I was in and out very quickly.

My experience here at DVC has been pretty good so far. I've had my ups and downs when it comes to classes but they are related to my diligence to complete the assignments. I've experienced nothing but respect from my professors and friends I've made there especially in my past Japanese courses. If you're into Japanese culture or would like to learn a language, I recommend taking the Japanese courses at DVC. Also check out the music department. I've been taking the intermediate guitar/ensemble course for the past couple of semesters and my experience has been great since then. You'll like the instructor, he's kind and patient and willing to help wherever you need it.
The campus is beautiful and well-maintained. Almost any program or degree you think of, they offer it
