Dewsbury Citizens Advice Bureau Review

Excellent service, Sarah persevered with me even though I ve a tendency to bury my head in the sand and go off radar. My experience of the whole team has been brilliant!

I'm disabled & dealing with a clear cut case of discrimination at the hands of Leeds City Council, My housing solicitor advised me to call these people after witnessing the discrimination himself..... Repeatedly I've been told someone will call me back & nothing, Absolutely no help, I will be contacting the government regarding the lack of help this place that is given legal aid funding gives.... & I will be making it public when I finish making an online video of the treatment the disabled get in west Yorkshire!

Helped me fill pip form in & also gave advice on issues I knew nothing about very good service shame Lisa Drake took early Redundancy she was the best but I'd recommend these people,

Best place to go for all the help needed for whatever you may need. The people who volunteer here are the best going and can help you out. Peter

Brilliant! what more can you say. They are all really nice, helpful and anyone who says different are just arrogant and more then likely think only of themselves. If you have a problem then go down and they will help if they can.

Management need to train the workers on how to answer the phones. Iv been calling for days now, I keep choosing different times of day to call. Nobody ever answers their telephone.. How am I supposed to get some help? Would they prefer another contact method? Would I get a reply if I was to email maybe.. Some answers would be amazing, if its not too much trouble for anyone. Somebody please contact me.

Visited with a family member, designated person was allocated to our inquiries and was invaluable to us, very helpful in the written documentation needed .would certainly visit again.

Rude and inexperienced. Run by people who are there because they have nothing better to do with their time rather than by people with knowledge to help in the areas people go to citizens advice for, you may as well stop people in the street or run a survey outside the bus or train station and give yourself better odds of finding somebody with relevant experience that can actually help
