I absolutely loved Dr. Wittkopf and would continue seeing him for my sinus problems in a heart beat, but I absolutely can not afford the price tag and honestly I don t know how anyone can. I started visiting this facility after my primary care doctor recommended I see a specialist for my headaches that she thought could be sinus related. After my first exam I was advised to get an allergy test and to think about either doing a balloon sinusplasty procedure or start medication to treat my headaches. I came back a week later for my allergy test and that day I scheduled my procedure, because in my mind if I could do something once and hopefully fix the problem I wanted to try it. I knew going into it that it might not fix the problem, what I didn t know going into it was that it was going to cost a fortune. I finally received my bill in the mail, and everything from my first consultation to my first post op appointment is costing over $45,000! Yes, my insurance covers a huge chunk, but I m still left paying way more than I ever would ve wanted too. I feel cheated and taken advantage of. I should ve been given at least an estimate before going through this pricey ordeal, but I didn t even have an inkling about how much this was costing. This past May I had my Gallbladder removed and it barely cost a quarter of what this place is charging. When I called to make sure I was reading the bill right I spoke with an extremely unsympathetic women who didn t seem to care that her place of employment was taking advantage of people in their time of need. I didn t seek treatment because it s something cosmetic, I m in a lot of pain and I was putting my faith in these people to make me better. So now I m faced with this bill I can barely afford and I have to find a new doctor because my health problems still exist. I m very disappointed in this situation and I urge anyone who s even considering seeing a physician here to get pricing on everything, because they won t offer you that courtesy.
